A very disappointing experience with customer services. We bought a pair of Bowers & Wilkins headphones (approx £500). On our first long haul flight with them, the box for them disappeared whilst my husband slept. The air steward hunted for them but sadly no luck.
On our return, I contacted Peter Tyson to ask if they could get us a replacement case and obviously we expected to pay for this. Peter Tyson simply replied that they couldn’t get a replacement from B&W.
I dropped a quick email direct to B&W and they got a replacement to us the next day!!

Excellent service once again from Peter Tyson, with a wealth of knowledge from the sales staff, and outstanding customer service pre sales and post sales. A great assortment, with keen prices, free extended guarantees and free next week day delivery. Overall a great place to shop with confidence and being looked after.

I recently purchased a Sony Bravia 8 II from Peter Tyson. While there was a technical issue with the initial unit, the customer service response was second to none. I contacted with Paul, the Customer Service Manager, who resolved the matter immediately. He was decisive, helpful, and ensured a replacement was sorted without any hesitation or stress. It is rare to find this level of after-sales care. I’m now enjoying a fantastic TV and couldn't be happier with the support I received. Highly recommended.

I'd made a decision of what I needed and Peter Tyson had an excellent price,much better than their rivals. I rang one morning to purchase and it arrived the following day...I did get a few minor hitches trying to purchase on line, but that could have been down to the Internet, bank etc.

I purchased an Audiolab 9000n streamer which has had great reviews. Sound wise it was great but I keep my music library on a USB hard drive. Unfortunately, unknown to me, the 9000n doesn’t index USB devices, so it had to be returned.

I contacted Peter Tyson who immediately sent me a link for the return. As soon as they received the device they immediately gave a full refund. Excellent customer service.

The only downside was the high postage/insurance cost for the return. However, as the device wasn’t actually faulty, it’s just a design choice, I couldn’t expect PT to pickup the return cost.

The service was professional and friendly. When hearing that the dishwasher was required for a kitchen extension/renovation and that the building work was inevitably delayed due too the weather, they offered, without prompting, to delay the shipment so that it arrived within 48 hours of being needed, thus saving me the need to find somewhere to store it. I was very grateful and it arrived as planned. Absolutely no complaints and a pleasure to do business with.

We knew what we wanted but couldn’t listen to all the options but were told they would contact us when the item was in store so we could review the sound quality. 4 weeks went by - no contact so I phoned and was met with ‘excuses’ and a promise to phone me. Nothing happened. The customer service is appalling given I was looking to spend £700 upwards. I do not recommend this store.

Excellent service. I auditioned just about every network player, amp and speaker in the shop but the sales guys were brilliant and seemed to have so much knowledge at their fingertips.

Having quite a few questions about my purchases everyone I spoke to proved able to answer my queries. I also found part exchanging old hi Fi components extremely easy. Best of all I’d add that what ever your need is on speaking to someone at Tyson’s it is seemingly always no trouble. I get the distinct feeling that staff enjoy their work.
