Our history
SECOM’s roots in the UK go back as far as 1918, when the family-owned Lodge Lock and Safe Company began providing security solutions.
Growth and acquisitions led to its re-emergence as the Carroll Security Group – a major independent electronic security company.
In 1991, Carroll was acquired by SECOM Co Ltd of Japan, which has seen us go from strength to strength ever since!

The engineers visiting the site are great, however the logistics process for organising items for jobs is not that great and repeated visits are required due to lack of / incorrect equipment.
E.g lack of extension poles for heat detectors or equipment without fully charged batteries.

Good communication re arrival time. Engineer arrived earlier than estimated, very straightforward service.

Out of hours help was non existent
Out of hours help was non existent. Active alarm but they didn’t want to know. The call handlers were extremely nonchalant and uninterested. I would not recommend this company at all.

The engineer (Dylan Williams) was extremely helpful. He was very thorough in his work checking the system and made some adjustments to 2 of the room monitors, as I’d had problems with spiders setting the alarm off. He explained things well and advised me where I could purchase a spray to deter spiders.
