Very prompt replies to email queries and everything went smoothly. Would use again. We couldn't find one, but may be helpful to have a phone contact number as well for more urgent queries.

Safe and easy to use payment system. First time I have used it to sell something, but very easy and you get emails at every step to let you know what is going on, plus prompt you to enter info to move the transaction on.

Super quick and easy way to buy and sell online. Felt really confident sending my item out of the country with trustap. Their model works really well and is equally safe for both buyer and seller. Would definitely use again and would recommend to family and friends. Really easy to use and money received really quickly

I recently used Trustap to sell an Electric Picnic ticket. The buyer asked if we could use it and once I had read a little bit about it, I was very happy to do so. It gave the buyer great reassurance that I wasn’t looking to scam them, which obviously made the transaction a lot more positive! As a seller, it was very straightforward to use and the money transferred directly to my chosen bank account. I would highly recommend anyone buying/selling a ticket to use this app for greater peace of mind.

10/10 experience! Found out about trustap while wanting to purchase festival tickets from a private person.
I watched videos about trustap and it was recommended by the festival organizers.
The person didn’t want to use it (because they were a scammer) and there is no loophole in the app to apply a scam.

Thanks to trustap I was prevented from getting scammed! Would definitely recommend when trying to purchase from private people.

Simple and effective app. No issues with it and makes trades between people online very easy.

As a first time user of Trustap I am very happy. I have been scammed once before and learned my lesson so was drawn to their app. With an excellent seller who was happy to use it too there are now another two very happy clients.

Very easy product to use. Intuitive design for the end user. Both my self and the buyer had no issues. Their support is great, and their team is intentional with continuing to evolve the product for it's users.

The service was straight forward. I had a payment link set up and I just followed the instructions. It took 4 days for the payment to clear in my bank but I know that's just the way banking system works.

Always use the trustap it does what it says on the tin its well worth the £5 odds to put your mind at rest there’s so many scammers these days I just can’t afford to leave things to chance infact I won’t make the purchase no matter how much I want it or how reassuring the seller is without using it .

Just used Trustap to sell some old handbags. I usually use eBay for this kind of stuff but I wanted to see if I could find a way that saved me money as they generally charge a lot. It was very simple, I created the transaction, sent the link to the buyer to join and then followed the steps from there.
Delighted with the process, will definitely use again.

I was making a purchase on Facebook Marketplace and I wasn't too comfortable with the sellers profile so I set about looking online for something to make the transaction safer. That is when I came across Trustap and thought that it seemed like a fantastic solution to my problem.

The seller agreed to use Trustap, which in itself made me more confident about the purchase. The experience was smooth and painless and once I had received the product the seller confirmed they got the funds less than 2 days later. I would highly recommend Trustap to anyone and I will most definitely be using it again in the future.

I'd like to think I'm a fair reviewer and I have to say this app/site provided the secure process advertised, the buyer received their product and I, the seller, got my money. Eventually. Fundamentally it did what it said on the tin but it wasn't the simple, straightforward, transparent service it's sold as.

On Tuesday 17th the buyer paid into Trustap. It wasn't until Friday 27th the money hit my account.

My expectations, based on the advertised service was that I'd receive payment by the end of the first week at the latest.

Trustap can’t be blamed for delivery delays, so if we work on the basis that DPD delivered the next day, as they were meant to, the whole process, start-to-finish, took 8 days. That to me, is far too long. Especially given that people selling second-hand items are typically desperate for the money.

On Saturday 21st the package was delivered and the tracking information on the DPD site was immediately updated. However, the status on Trustap remained the same, “Waiting to be delivered”.

By Monday 23rd, nothing had changed so I tried to send them a support message via their web form. It failed, so I sent them an email. I provided a link and tracking number (which they already had) and asked them to update the status on their site. Although the response was reasonably prompt, it was very cut-n-paste and said “Once we've confirmed from the courier and the buyer that the package is delivered, the transaction status will be updated…” but I’d literally just sent them a link and a tracking number to confirm from the courier?

By Tuesday 24th, the status remained unchanged and I started to get concerned, I emailed again telling them I’d need to contact the police if things didn’t change as it was beginning to feel like a scam.

A few hours later the status changed. But still no money. I emailed again, they told me they had to give the buyer 24 hours of complaint leeway, which I was aware of, but the buyer had, by this point, had over 72 hours. I pointed this out and was ignored. The buyer received, in total, 96 hours of complaint leeway. Then they released the funds.

Despite me using a ‘challenger’ bank where payments normally land instantly, it took a further 2 days for the payment to arrive.

They blamed a glitch in their system for the tracking issue and I got a “sorry-not-sorry” response. There was no gesture of a refund for the fee and the whole experience felt very shoddy. An iOS app which is essentially just the website, unused transactions that can’t be cancelled, tracking data that doesn’t update, support forms that don’t send, ignored support messages and unsatisfactory action in response to them.

It's a great concept, given that eBay would’ve charged four times the Trustap fee to sell the same item, they’re on to something. But it felt like I was riding a rollercoaster made out of cardboard and staples. The huge sums of money they’ve received as investment need to be put to good use, there’s lots to do.

EDIT. Since leaving the review above, I was contacted by Head of Product at Trustap who spent time via Google Meet listening to my complaints and suggestions. There's not many businesses that would take time out to listen and learn from their customers. It's a legitimate service which works and is likely to improve radically over the coming months/years.

Used Trustap while selling some items on Facebook. Buyers seem happier when this was flagged as an option. Also saved on seller fees! Will use going forward.

Using Trustap enabled me to complete a transaction I would otherwise have been unable to complete. Found the whole process very simple and efficient. Communication with customer support was clear and prompt.

First time I have encountered Trustap; was a little suspicious at first, but was reassured by
online reviews. Very happy to have had a Feedback session with Kevin to share my positive experience, and my very small negative stuff (too many emails); a very pleasant half hour, which gave me a surprising £25 voucher with Amazon as a thank you! Do hope this company can flourish. They are certainly doing their best!
