This is fantastic and amazing value. So easy to assemble from the box. So easy to put on to the vehicle. The best thing I have purchased for years. It is currently up on my drive and a few people have taken photos. I recon soon we won't be the only one in the village with a RTT.

Very helpful customer service, answered my questions quickly and provided solutions. The tent is really good. Putting it up takes 5 minutes and gives a dry comfy place to sleep

Great customer service. There was a mishap with the delivery partner but Charlotte maintained great comms throughout so that I knew what was going on and got all my purchases over to me.

Placed an enquiry about a deluxe extended 1.4 roof tent received a follow up call within 30mins, after a brief but informative phone call with William I was sold!

The team at Ventura are second to none, I placed my order mid morning and my tent arrived the next day.

Now for the tent it’s self the build quality is spot on the mounting system is very versatile and well thought out, the mattress is very comfortable and I can’t wait to get out and test it!

Great service from the off very easy to fit and maintain also very well designed I’ve been out in mine in torrential rain and strong winds without any issues had a great nights sleep would recommend to buy but definitely get the annexe massive upgrade at a small cost

Couldn't be happier with my Ventura tent. Had a problem with the ladder, contacted the company via email, received an email back within a few hours with comprehensive problem-solving assistance. (including offering replacement).

Turns out I had made a mistake during installation, the problem was resolved very quickly. I highly recommend these tents. Have used mine with the awning for more than 20+ nights now too!

Fantastic!

Fitted the 1.4 extended roof tent to my Ford Ranger, item arrived very quickly although the delivery company couldn't give a time slot.
Fitting took around 1 hour purely due to the low profile roof bars (I used 3 because I'm a chunky Yorkshire lad.
We fitted a sheet to the roof an electric blanket above the mattress and camped in gale force winds!
From previous experience you must remember to weather the canvas we didn't on the last one and got wet.

The only drawbacks are the mpg I lost around 5mpg with it fitted.

Customer services Charlotte sorted us right out when we realised we needed the annex for...... Pee breaks!

Love it and fully Recommended and far cheaper than the competition.

Was looking for a roof tent for a while and found the Ventura roof tent with an extra £100 off. Delivery was fast and well packaged. Once fitted the tent is easy to use and easy to store away in your own. Seems to be really good quality and has a 2 year warranty to give peace of mind. Really good product for a fraction of the price of similar models from other companies.

I recently purchased the hard shell tent to go on my Jeep and have since used it a couple of times and it's been great. The mattress is very comfortable and there's plenty of space inside for my girlfriend and I.

William was really helpful and responsive throughout the order process and the tent was delivered within a week of ordering. As for the tent itself, it's reassuringly solid and the canvas feels thick and tough. You'll definitely need two strong people to get it up onto your vehicle, and make sure you've got decent roof bars as it is heavy.

Given that this tent is about £800 cheaper than similar models I suppose it's reasonable to expect that it will be slightly no-frills and cost savings will show somewhere. The ladder and the fittings are a bit basic - the square metal steps of the ladder are painful to use without shoes and the hooks at the top could do with some rubberised coating, as could the fitting plates, to stop them slipping/scratching. I managed to add a DIY coating myself with some bits and bobs off Amazon. While, inside the tent, there's nowhere obvious to attach a cargo net for storage or any lighting, so I will have to work out a way of adding this. Although it does come with a small bag that hangs up inside for valuables - phones/keys etc.

I'd also recommend investing in a set of M8 tamper-proof nuts (about £20 on ebay) to give you a bit more security.

Overall, with a couple of cheap modifications this is a really good tent for the money and it's nice to deal with a small and very helpful business where you speak to the same person throughout. Thanks!

Friendly and reliable customer service - prompt delivery - happy with product

I have just purchased a roof top tent and annex from Ventura tents . As yet i have only checked out the tent but first impressions are great looks well made .
I had a few questions before and after buying the tent all of these were answered by charlotte ( customer services ) in a very professional way with lots of detail and fantastic advice . We are looking forward to getting the tent mounted to are truck and making some memories .

Ventura delivered on time. The tent was well packaged. All of the parts were present and correct and despite a bit of user error not reading the instructions properly, putting it all together was a doddle. Everything fits to perfection and the tent seems to be manufactured extremely well. They've thought of everything, so impressed with how it all fits together even down to the way the tent cover fits perfectly and is completely water tight with zip and integral runner, even including extra space for the ladder on top. A huge amount of quality for the money. The awning is more spacious than expected and completely integral with a zip in ground sheet. Brilliant. We havnt used it to camp yet due to bad weather at weekends but it has been left out in rain and a considerable wind over night and weathered well with no leaking. We found it tricky to screw the tent in place on the roofbars but that is more becuase our vehicle also has parallel bars as well as bars accross the roof so it made it tricky to get your hand in to screw the bolts in to place. Not a complaint or Ventura's problem... More of a tip to make provisions for this/allow extra time, before you fit, if you also have the parallel bars. Had to ring Ventura becuase of a silly user error and can't fault the response. Called back within minutes, solved our problem and have been in touch since to see how we are getting on. Brilliant service, staff and product. Can't wait to take it camping.

The tent arrived really quickly and I had a quick reply to my query about suitable roof bars too.

Ordered roof tent on a Friday and delivered on the following Monday. Tent arrived and had some minor cosmetic damage due to transportation although nothing that would affect the use of the tent.Spoke to William and he would of happily replaced however rather than the hassle I accepted his offer of an anti-condensation mat. William was great to deal with and I am really impressed with the quality of the tent. I went to fit tent to car and unfortunately the rear roof bars were too narrow for the roof tent fitting rails .Another phone call to William advice given that I could move the existing rail by drilling new holes. I asked if he could provide further rails to enable me to fit so in essence I have four rails extra support and he agreed charging only postage .Both anti-condensation mat and rails arrived . Thanks to both William and Charlotte for quick communication excellent advice and a great product with a market leading 2 year warranty. I have fitted new rails and now fits car. Cannot wait to use tent in spring. Thanks VENTURA TENTS definitely will recommend you.

We purchased a roof tent and awning can't wait to get out and use it!
We weren't quite sure what we wanted and after a couple of phone calls and a visit to the showroom, a decision was made. We received good honest advice and always with a friendly smile. We were kept updated during the waiting time for delivery, and the fitting service was so helpful. We have a few more alterations to make on our vehicle before it's ready to go camping in, but we have many trips planned for the spring.
