I've been a verizion costumer for over 4 years,and they've always provided excelente service,but this past year,2025 the quality of costumer service was de creaste to zero.During my last call on december 16,2026 at 9 am, the representarive siento 2 hours talking to me and silla couldn't activate my watch.Situation like this have become constant, loyalty program cancelled without prior notice, etc.It's siempre like they are actively trying to lose costumer instead of retaining them, which make me think that some employees are trying to sabotage the company.It's as if the competition has infiltrated them with agents, i can't find any otero logical explanation
Verizon customer service
We needed to return a set top box because one of our tv's died. We are not going to replace it the tv , so we wanted to return the set top box. I was on the Verizon "chat" for over an hour before I could get the needed info. Every time I call Verizon, I get the run around.

It is the worst service carrier! It constantly has issues with service! When we had T-Mobile, I NEVER had any problems the 8 years I was with them! Verizon offered a much better monthly pricing plan, so I switched… had I known how HORRIBLE Verizon is I NEVER would have switched! GET IT TOGETHER VERIZON
They promise all kinds of deals but…
They promise all kinds of deals but once you sign everything changes. They never send the promised credits and change the offered rebates at will. Representatives change the terms of the contract and just raise your bill. It is a monopoly and they cheat the public.
Verizon is the WORST!
I picked Verizon because it supposedly has the best network, From the first month I got it the coverage has been HORRIBLE!! Constantly don't have good coverage and I have the Ultimate plan. If it wasn't for their shitty contract I would cancel immediately. But after the contract is over I will never be coming back to this overpriced, low quality and non-customer driven company. DO NOT GET VERIZON YOU WILL REGRET IT!

My FiOS service has been cancelled for months and this company is still charging me every month.
Don't even get me started on VZW, wireless is just as bad, possibly worse. I just tried calling a couple customer service numbers and you can't get through. Are you kidding me? I loved Verizon. What happened to them?? Greed.
Do NOT sign up for bundled streaming
I signed up for the bundled streaming services and realized a few days later that I just couldn't deal with the ads. I tried to upgrade from Verizon, they sent me to Disney, who then sent me back to Verizon, and apparently you can't make changes as it's tied to the billing cycle which is absurd.
I then tried to cancel the service and it's not an option. I tried to submit a support ticket and got an error page. I tried to call and was told the wait time is 1hr+ and that I would get a call back the following day. So in other words, they offer you a great deal and then trap you by making you complete an obstacle course to cancel. Dishonest. No integrity. No care for the customer. No like any company does but I NEVER had this problem with previous internet providers. It was all pretty clear-cut.
This is what happens when a company lays of 13,000 employees (like Verizon just did) and replaces them with AI. Buckle up.. it's going to happen a lot more.

I had a very disappointing experience with Verizon customer service. Calls were not answered properly, I was kept on hold for a long time, and my concerns were not handled according to my requirements. There was a lack of patience, and everything felt rushed. Because of this, customers are getting affected badly. Verizon really needs to improve their customer service and communication if they want customers to continue with them.
The Verizon Visa gift cards are a sham
The Verizon Visa gift cards are a sham, can only be used to buy Verizon mechandise.
Also, their web site is buggy and generally hard to use, the customer service difficult to access and largely ineffective.
I bought an iphone 16
I bought an iphone 16. Then I get an email telling me they can't "validate" my personal information because it is suspected as being "fraudulent". I have NEVER been more humiliated and disrespected EVER. They said a drivers license is acceptable proof of identity so I uploaded it with the link provided. Then I get a second email saying it is not acceptable. Verizon is 100% CRAP!
The grinch lives at Verizon
I spoke with the a manager here because Verizon was offering a switch up deal. From their selection of deals that I could've picked, I didn't because the sales manager picked for me, assuring me that THIS was the best deal from the selected options. Don't believe them they're lying, Verizon is lying. There is no deal. There's only the taking of your money until you complain, complain, complain, and complain some more and maybe you'll get your money back.
I also spoke with some of the general staff, who valiantly emphatically assured me that they would help fix the problem of the overcharged bill. And in their attempt to help me increase my bill by $120. Can you imagine that? Someone trying to help you and by helping you they increase your bill for $120 in this economy? No thanks I don't need your help, not if it's that kind of help. Thank God I wasn't laying on the ground needing life saving assistance. Can you imagine what that would end up looking like?
In addition, I was assured various times that I would not have to pay the bill that was almost 3 times as much as I was initially quoted by the inaccurately, possibly conniving, possibly dishonest, possibly malicious, possibly inept sales manager. To no avail. Instead auto pay took money out of my account.
Switching from one inept service to another. (Pssst...They got us by the guts we could choose not to use phones, but in this world not so likely.)
I requested for the business manager to reach me several times. Eddie could not be bothered. Then I face to face spoke to the store manager Walter, who assured me he’d call me back at 2pm the next day. Nope. Again was lied to.
I left AT&T because I had spent so much time trying to get my account and my phone to work. This was a very big mistake not only does my phone still have only two bars. Now I'm paying three times as much, (well at least in this bill) which I was told I would not have to pay till the end of December even though it's a mistake! Verizon decided to say “screw your Christmas” and they took $400 out of autopay not on the 31st as promised, but on the ninth, because the Grinch is alive and well living at Verizon. Not sure if the managers get some sort of cut for overcharging, Do they make their numbers look good for the month and then finagle and try to fix bills for the following month? I'm not sure, I don't know why these vile actions would happen and what the benefit is but they are vile and the benefit is not to the customer. They will cheat you if you let them. Don't let them!!!! Don't use Verizon.

Verizon increased my bill from 90 dollars a month to 115 dollars a month with no notice. Tried to reach a live person with no success. Verizon customer service is a joke, they are the worst in the business.

Speaking with a rep is not very effective as they are offshore. Reps on the app are very limited in what they can do. Verizon as a whole offers very little customer SERVICE.

My experience with Verizon has been frustrating and disappointing. They trap customers into what feels like a three-year commitment disguised as a deal. We were lured into buying devices with a BOGO offer, where the second device was clearly presented as free. Months later, Verizon started charging us for the second device, completely contradicting what was promised at the time of purchase.
On top of that, the price per line we were promised was not honored. Our bill kept increasing, and every time we contacted customer service, we got different explanations with no real resolution. It feels misleading and dishonest.
What was sold as a great deal turned into a long-term financial burden with hidden catches. I regret trusting Verizon’s sales promises and would strongly advise others to read the fine print carefully and get everything in writing before signing up. Based on my experience, I would not recommend Verizon.
This company is absolute trash
This company is absolute trash. I was a Verizon customer until May 2024. I canceled my account. While canceling, I asked what I needed to pay, was directed to my statement, and made the payment of $260. Here I am in December of 2025 with a collection notice from Verizon for $164.23. I was charged for the month of June because I made the (apparently) drastic mistake of canceling 9 days before my billing period was over. Because of this, I was charged $164.23 WHEN I WASN'T EVEN A CUSTOMER. I never received a statement for $164.23. I then called Verizon and was put through three different people and was on the phone with them for over an hour trying to figure out what happened and how to get this settled. The last person I talked to said I actually owed $193.79. I was charged interest on a payment THAT I DIDN'T EVEN KNOW EXISTED. I was NEVER emailed or mailed a statement EVER. I had NO idea that this balance or bill even existed so how would I be able to pay of something I wasn't aware of?! So instead of telling me I had an outstanding balance, they let the debt sit to collect interest and waiting to sell it to a collection agency. Every time an agent tried to get payment from me, the portals would reject my card - debit and credit cards, over ten times. Our bank wasn't rejecting it, we had plenty of money on the card and balance on our credit card. This entire company is a SCAM.
Employees fraud withdrawals
I have made 5 phone calls this week about Verizon withdrawing 19 different fraudulent amounts from my checking account, I have one reoccurring monthly. They have 11 cards that don’t belong to me on file associated with my account. I have had lost several thousand of dollars in bogus charges relating to debit/credit cards that aren’t mine. 3 hours later and ending response to my concerns “Mame, what do you want me to do about?” Every month for 8 months. Meanwhile it continues

Absolutely way to expensive even worse if you try to leave. Tried to cancel the service and customer service said they couldn't because it was a business line and the business office was closed so they directed me to the business website. Did all the steps there, months later still getting charged and now business customer service says no record of the attempt to cancel so have to pay the bill for the moths I never used it even though you can see I never used. Not to mention you have to buy out their insanely expensive crappy routers. That max out at 200mb and my new T-Mobile one will sometimes pull double that speed at a fraction of the cost.
