Hi, I'd just like to give a big thanks and show my appreciation to Dave (awnings department) for looking after us when deciding on a new full awning. We traded in our Isabella Magnum Etna 340 at a good price (which we also bought previously from there) for the Isabella Capri North. We spent nearly £32,000 on what was supposed to be a brand-new caravan at this dealership. Our experience since has revealed a business that lacks both quality control and basic transparency.On our very first trip, we discovered multiple defects that should never exist on a factory-new vehicle, including deep scratches on the windows, terribly "bodged" sealant on the awning rail, and paint bloom on the exterior side panel. Most alarmingly, when we brought it back, the workshop secretively swapped out our mattress without telling us—a move that strongly suggests they were trying to hide a major issue like damp or water ingress from the bad sealant.The deceptive nature of this business became even clearer during our visit. The dealership deliberately took an exhausting six hours just to inspect our old caravan. While waiting, I witnessed a salesman using textbook high-pressure tactics on an elderly couple. He offered them an insultingly low price for their caravan, then claimed he would "speak to the manager" to get them a better deal. I watched him walk straight into an empty office—as the manager wasn’t even on the premises—stand there for a few minutes, and return to falsely claim the manager had approved a higher offer.Seeing how they manipulate vulnerable buyers, combined with the benched repairs and cover-ups on our own £32K caravan, makes it impossible to trust this dealership. Whether you are buying new or trading in, go somewhere else where you will be treated with honesty.

Had an excellent experience with Yorkshire Caravans. We first visited on Saturday just to look, and Pete looked after us brilliantly. We came back on Sunday to buy the caravan and an awning. Charlie helpfully confirmed the caravan was still available, and Dave, as always, was very knowledgeable and helpful with the awning. The paperwork was smooth, communication clear, and all three members of staff made us feel really looked after. We’re looking forward to collecting the caravan later next month. We bought our first Motorhome in May and after seeing an ad on facebook we decided to pop down to Yorkshire Caravans to look at Awnings. We didn’t know anything about them and was amazed at the selection on display.
James approached us and asked if we needed any help and we proceeded to pick his brains. He was absolutely fantastic with us and not only answered all our questions with extensive knowledge but advised us what would be the best buy for us. He was kind patient and very friendly and didn’t make us feel like we had to buy anything, there was absolutely no pressure. He gave us the space to have a private chat about everything to make a decision but said he was available if we had any more questions. We bought a Telta life 330 at a fabulous price and because of James we felt we had made a really informative choice. I Would recommend the company to anyone. Also visited their beautiful cafe for cake & coffee.. everything was outstanding. We come from Barnsley and feel the journey was definitely worthwhile.

Went to purchace our first awning and wind break and were looked after by a very nice chap called marcus who took time to shows us around the stock explaining the pros and cons of each type his advise was greatly apreciated we made our purchace,s and he even loaded them into the car for us thankyou marcus we will be back.

The staff were very friendly, Debbie who sold us the caravan was exceptional. The caravan had been cleaned to an amazing standard by Sarah and her team. Would highly recommend Yorkshire Caravans, and there’s a lovely cafe on site too.

We visited Yorkshire Caravans & Motorhomes today and saw Dave in the awnings department. Dave was very cheerful and approachable and most importantly extremely knowledgeable which was very reassuring. He was able to answer all of our questions, and gave us some great advice, weren’t rushed or pressured at all. We came away confident we’d purchased the right awning for us.

I wrote a review in June this year about my caravan microwave failing at Easter (early April) and claiming under warranty. We are now nearly 5 months on and this has not been properly resolved. I went several weeks phoning the warranty section and not getting a response to my answerphone messages, then "your model of microwave is no longer made" and " have a look around and see if you can find one". I did look around in April and found a microwave to take in the van, but it is only after having my van serviced (independently) that I found this was exactly the same size as my failed unit. I have fitted this myself. I only took out the warranty on the advice of the salesperson that it was good value for money if anything went wrong. I have to say I have been very disappointed in the service.

The salesman Dave remembered us from last year when we bought ourr awning we wanted an annex he know straight away which we had bought.

Bought a VW Transporter from YC&C in January. I used them because they claim to be experts and a reputable company. Initially all seemed well until rust began to appear and paint started to flake from rear door. I took van to local body repair shop for quote which came in at £5600 to replace sills , door hinge , respray rear door . Once the work was started further damage was discovered resulting in a further £1000 required.
All this just 5 months after purchase.
I would not use them again and personally do not regard them as experts .
