Fixed our car on holiday in wales at our rented house arrived at time stated and completed job quickly and professionally answered all my questions. Declan the technician who did our dpf regen was professional and very competent in his job. Highly recommended 👌

I paid over £900 to have a clean and told I need a valve on my AdBlue pipe which they did. Less than two months after and I was away two weeks of that the same problem has come back. The job has a 3 month warranty on it I’ve contacted them by email but still no reply. Do not throw your money down the drain beware.

I had a DPF clean on my van & was told by the operative I would be able to use the van & would get his report later that day . I paid £400 for the clean & a 3 month warranty. The report threw up some codes & I was informed that the work would need to be carried out within 7 days or the warranty would be void. I received a quote for the work : replace pressure sensor, top up ELOYS/ PAT fluid & oil & filter change £691.00 . £240 was for parts, £451 for labour & VAT. I thought that was a very high quote & decided to ring round some local DPF specialist garages to ask their opinion. I spoke to one mechanic who was particularly helpful & said that the fault codes I had been told about didn’t make sense & offered me a FREE diagnostic to see what was what . The result of that was that there was nothing wrong with the vehicle & none of that work needed to be carried out..he would be more than happy to drive the vehicle with the knowledge that all was good for the foreseeable! My advice to anyone would be: use Auto Assist for the DPF clean but, don’t pay £100 for the warranty because its worthless & 100% get a second opinion from an independent garage before paying Auto Assist to carry out any work ! I would have been ripped off to the tune of £691 by them, for work that didn’t need doing, if I hadn’t gone with my instinct. JUST BEWARE!!!

This morning I had a Boost pipe replaced with a cost of £309 for half a hours work, not to mention I gave this company over £400 for a DPF clean 3 weeks ago, so this morning the chap turned up his name is Alex lovely chap and did agree with me that £309 for half an hours work and the price of a rubber pipe was indeed a bit steep.he even got on the phone and explained that the job only took less than 40 minutes including a test run and a OBD reeding that took over 10 minutes to do.I called auto assist and was put onto2 different people who basically agreed with me that the price was a bit steep ,one chap said the price for an hours work was £120 and the pipe was £189 for a genuine part had I been given an option to have an of shelf part to which I wasn’t I don’t think the ridiculous price would have been so much. So please be aware as this company prices seem extremely high .I will not be using or recommending auto assist in future.

I decided to take out the clean with a 12 month warranty believing it would give me peace of mind. Forget that. 6 weeks after treatment (of which I was on holiday 3) the fault and engine management light back on. I think simple I have warranty??? No you need to complete a claim form and submit a diagnostic report which cost me £50 to buy a tool to do. Its the same fault. Not to be trusted.

Initial service was efficient and the mechanic was friendly. However, unfortunately the technician failed to clean my DPF correctly. Once he had claimed the issue was now dealt with and the warning lights had gone, I asked whether I should take the car on a test drive to check that all was ok. In response, the technician told me that this wouldn’t be needed and I should save the fuel as it was all fixed. However, when I then drove my car, the warning lights returned and went back into limp mode. I called customer services but they stated that their checks had shown that the clean was successful and were not willing to send someone out to have another look. I have now had to find another garage to help me find out what the issue is and have now been told that the DPF was not clean at all and that there is no reason why they shouldn’t have driven it to check before finishing. This is extremely disappointing having parted with £400 for the service which took the technician 20 minutes and has meant that I have had to cancel the holiday I had planned because I was not able to drive my car. I would not recommend the company based on the fact that the initial work was clearly not thorough and wasn’t even check for success - the fact I was told not to test drive it clearly shows that they knew the lights would come back in. And secondly, because the after care service is non existent and the lack of willingness to support is extremely disappointing and means that they are unlikely to have returning customers.

Communication was great and technician was great worked on my Ford Edge and got it cleaned and cleared computer messages, so all good and back to normal

I am extremely disappointed with the aftercare and warranty support provided by Auto Assist Group.

In October 2025, I paid approximately £3,800 for extensive DPF-related repairs, including replacement of the DPF system and associated components. Less than a year later and after around 8,500 miles, the vehicle developed very similar issues again, including fault code P2002 and multiple DPF-related fault codes.

After obtaining an inspection from a Nissan dealership, I contacted Auto Assist Group expecting them to investigate the possibility that the previous repair work may have contributed to the problem. Instead, every response focused on shifting responsibility elsewhere and rejecting any warranty involvement.

What frustrated me most was the lack of willingness to properly investigate the issue. Despite the vehicle requiring significant further repairs, the company repeatedly stated that the DPF itself had not failed and therefore no warranty assistance would be offered. When I asked for clarification about what their warranty actually covers if a major component they installed requires replacement again within 10 months, I did not receive a clear answer.

I appreciate that faults can have multiple causes, but as a customer who spent thousands of pounds on repairs, I expected better aftercare and a more constructive approach. Instead, I felt that the company was looking for reasons to avoid responsibility rather than working towards a resolution.

Based on my experience, the repair may be straightforward to sell, but obtaining support when problems arise afterwards is a completely different matter.

Would not use again.

Craig was able to resolve my car issues and indentified what I needed to get my car running more efficiently following a dpf clean. Very helpful and friendly service, I will be using this service again

Would recommend to company to get plastic seat covers for engineers seat on in the vehicle.

I contacted Dpf Specialist at 10am Monday, the technician arrived by 1:30pm and the car was fixed in 30mins.
