Excellent service from start to finish, communication was excellent and every process was explained before commencing to the next stage. The engineers were professional and there was no mess left after the installation was completed . After service provided was also great. The only thing that is a problem is my battery discharges when I charge my EV and this down to wiring configuration which I will have to rectify. All in all I would definitely recommend Contact Solar as a company for price and service.

The whole process has gone so smoothy thanks to the excellent communication, updates and liason with the team. All staff are super friendly and helpful. Any query is responded to very promptly and efficiently

Today Zach called us at the appointed time to walk through the system.
He didn't rush us as this is a complex piece of kit and he answered all our questions clearly and patiently.
Zach has even left the door open for us to make changes next week when the external power provider has completed their process and for us to reach out for help if we need support.

Very good experience, the team arrived on time worked quickly and with minimum fuss. When they completed the installation I looked at it and they explained the switching, safety features etc.

We initially chose Contact Solar because the sales process was convincing and the proposed system looked good on paper. Unfortunately, once the technical detail was examined more closely, our confidence in the design dropped quite quickly.

In our experience, the initial sales stage seemed to over-promise what could actually be delivered. When questions were raised around roof layout, shading, inverter choice and the overall system design, communication became poor and there appeared to be very little flexibility to design around different inverter options or properly adapt the system to suit the property.

We ultimately decided not to proceed and went with another installer. The alternative system cost more, but we ended up with a significantly better-designed installation that is much more suitable for our needs and is now working exactly as intended.

The biggest disappointment was not simply that the original design changed, but that once genuine technical questions were raised, the level of communication and confidence in the proposed solution dropped away. My advice would be to look beyond the initial sales proposal and make sure the final design, inverter choice, battery setup and shading strategy are all properly considered before committing.

An amazing experience all around, staff were incredibly friendly and helpful and generally quick to respond. They walked me through the entire process, explained the choices if we wanted to proceed and the process and time frames once i had confirmed i wanted to proceed. The entire process was excellent, the staff, service and delivery was excellent. The scaffolders were friendly, the delivery team were quick and efficient too. The follow on calls were great. Couldn't recommend them more highly.

The whole process from quotation through to installation was absolutely seamless. This is the second property that I have chosen E.D.F. Solar to install there state of the art equipment and should I need any future installations, this is the only company I would consider. Many thanks to all.

Installers came on time and worked steadily throughout the day to finish the job and left the site very tidy. Telephone conversations with their admin and support has also been very good.

It was an excellent introduction and explained a lot that was not clear.
With time and use it will become clearer.
Also when we get our EDF tariff set up fine adjustments can be made this was explained very easily.

The installers were extremely friendly and professional, with the lead being very knowledgable when it came to the handover of the system. The scaffolders also did a good job with no damage to the building (just some dead grass beneath the wooden blocks, but that's not their fault). Communication was also good from the central customer service team. The only downside is the waiting between different regulatory points being approved (again, beyond Contact Solar's control, as far as I know, as it involves third parties)

Very pleased with the installation of my solar battery but you need to be patient, getting all the various approvals/applications has taken months, still waiting for my FIT tariff export rates to be updated so process still not complete and original order was placed over 6 months ago.
