saw an ad for this on facebook in regards to using an affiliate link to get an extra 10 % off ...i was looking at buying the shark and saw that Curls lab was a Canadian company had slashed the price of their 5 in 1 to 69.95 - and i thought well i will give that a try - now where on their site does it say barrels are extra for 49.95- in fact they lead the consumer to look at their flashy page with all the other goodies noted on there to catch your attention, reviews, pictures even offers of buy 2 get a free straigthener .... but unless you click on the items noted as why but the curls lab 5 in 1 straigthener and get through the labourious description of a styler and its features would you see at the very bottom whats included and there it is noted next to the barrels that they are included in the same package for an additional cost .... this isvery unethical .... when you purchase the styler there is nothing that pops unlike they claim to advise there is an extra charge and do you want to continuwe - after you get the receipt there is nothing there to say please watch for a seperate charge and even after you get the shipping notice there is nothing - i just received an alert from my bank they were trying to charge another 49.95- when i reached out i got this blah blah cookie cutter answer - even after i expressed this was false advertising and misleading leading me to not want the product thy continued with the fake sympthay of caring but in the same breath said if you need help with how to use the styler please contact us ... yeah not thanks - i even went to make a complaint with the BBB and read that someone else had this same problem with the not all in pricing or being transparent - the company responded with a bunch of lies and then BBB found this ok so no point - i just want other to be aware unlike i was before purchasing from this company that this a complete scam .. and once i get this thing im just gonna give it away .. super disappointed that a company is allowed to do this over and over to people

When I purchased the product in April there was a free VIP membership, so I signed up for it. Little did I know that I would be charged continuously $8.95 a month and not receive any gifts as had been previously mentioned. I have requested it be cancelled multiple times, received email replies from both Amy and Valerie indicating that I was on the cancellation list. I have been on said list for three months. You would think they would be able to cancel the membership by now, but they don’t. Even when attempting to go online through the Shop website, the membership subscription link doesn’t work. So you still can’t cancel it yourself.
I feel ripped off and so frustrated. I do not recommend this company and will NEVER buy from them again.

Curlslab.ca is a scam. Do not fall for their scams of extended warranty and free VIP membership. Bought their curler and paid for a 3 year warranty. Curler went bad after a few uses and when requested the replacement, customer support denied it saying it was not per their terms of warranty. Also, I am being charged monthly for the free VIP membership too and it has been a pain to get it cancelled. Their customer support is not even cancelling it even after requesting it several times. I am going to take this to my bank to cancel the incoming transactions now. However, their support is of no use, their VIP membership is a scam, their warranty policies are a scam.

Zero star if I could. Absolute scam. First they charge the extra barrels with it hidden, so not fully transparent on the charges. When I requested a refund, they say after its used you can't refund it when they claim 60 day guarantee refund if unsatisfactory. You cant even refund and return it if just testing it without use. It's just 100% scam. Do not buy.

This is a SCAM. I bought it because it had a 60 day return policy. When the product arrived,late, I noticed the poor quality. I tried it on 2 curls and it was nothing special. Due to the poor quality, I reboxed it and emailed customer service for a refund. I got the (very polite run around for approx 2 months with 30 emails before giving up. They have also charged me $8.95 each month for a free subscription that I have never received.DONT BUY THIS!

I wish I had read some of these reviews before I purchased. I purchased the 5 in 1 item and was charged an extra $25 for curling barrels that I did not want or authorize. I emailed the company 3 x to dispute this charge. Still no answer. I would call but there is no phone number listed. I have contacted my credit card and I was told that they have my back if this is not refunded. The credit card company will refund me and go after Curlslab Canada. This is so unethical! Honestly, this is my first bad experience with ordering online.

I've been using the Curls Lab styling tool, and I'm honestly impressed! It heats up quickly, is easy to use, and creates beautiful curls that actually last. I have fine, shoulder-length hair, and it gives me different curl styles without making my hair feel overly damaged. My hair looks smooth, shiny, and bouncy every time. Definitely worth it if you're looking for a versatile curling tool!

tbh i was kinda nervous at first about its performance after reading all the negative reviews. but when i used it i was shocked it was so good i curled my hair first it was super easy and they lasted for almost 2 days. i would recommend everybody to go for it .

I really loved how my curls turned out with minimal heat.

Update: I reached out to start a return and they told me they wanted proof it was unused and I would be responsible for the cost of the return. So much for their hassle free money back guarantee that is advertised. This are a terrible company, with terrible customer service. Please don't waste your money, if you're not happy with your purchase, you will never recover your money.

I bought this item on a whim then received the extra charge for the curling barrels, I wasn't aware of the extra charge. I emailed them within 10 minuted to cancel my order. I got a response a day later explaining the extra charge. I then inquired about canceling the order. They said it was too late as it was already shipped because I didn't respond to their response fast enough, like the words CANCEL MY ORDER wasn't understandable to them. Now I'mstuck with a product I do not want. Now I have read it's not easily returned, even thoughthe website offers a money back guarantee I haven't used it but don't trust they will give me a 100% refund but I am going to try! Terrible customer service. Don't waste your money, it's not worth the hassle.

I am writing this to thank Amy for being such a helpful person, I get confused with some charges on my card under this product name, and then talked with her and she helped me to understand it and addressed all of my concerns.

Curls Lab Canada is selling a 5 in 1 hair styler kit for 69.95 I ordered one and within minutes my credit card was billed. A minute later the company generated a separate order number and billed my credit card for 39.95 for two curling barrels that are INCLUDED in the 5 in 1 boxed kit.

When I contacted the company by email within an hour of placing my order requesting to cancel both order numbers and issue a full refund to my credit card they told me that it's not possible due to remote shipping.

They also told me that the barrels are always billed separately. Does anyone smell an OUTRIGHT DECEPTIVE SCAM!!?? I received the first order of the 5 in 1 kit and low and behold the box contains two curling barrels just as advertised so why am I being billed separately for the included barrels under a separate order number and charge to my credit card.

Am I now to assume that I will receive a separate shipment of two curling barrels? Who wants or needs four barrels? SCAM SCAM SCAM SCAM!!! Please don't buy from this misleading, deceptive scamming company. They'll never accept responsibility, facilitate a return or refund your money.

These people are fraud.
I have purchased 5 in 1 product. I see some videos and reviews that this product is not for long hair person because there is no instructions for curls. No timer or beep sound that you know that you're curls are done.

So I contacted customer service within return policy days. There are saying my product is used they can't help me. I told them I have video proof that my product is unused. Yet they are not following anything. They told me they can only give me 10% refund.

Please don't fall for this nonsense. This is pure FRAUD......

Was looking for a styler for a while pricing on other brands had kept me away for years. The product you get when you order was beyond my expectations. The styler is light and easy to use and the chord is long enough that you can manipulate it with ease!
