I have only just started my first jar but it smells and feels different to other creams I’ve tried and my skin does feel better I have not subscribed but if it does work I’ll order again

Cream arrived damage & replacement product never arrived
My cream arrived damaged I couldn’t use it, the seal was broken and cream had spilled out. They sent me a replacement which I never received. Kate their customer service specialist said they were investigating. Apparently it had been delivered but no photo proof was supplied. I confirmed I didn’t get any delivery on the day in question so they said they would investigate with their logistics partner.
I waited & waited.
6 weeks later & still no information on what happened to my 2nd delivery despite several emails asking for updates.
When I asked for a refund Kate tells me I needed to chase it up with the courier company myself! After waiting and being patient with them for 6 weeks. Very disappointing.
UPDATE:
I reached out to the courier company myself out of pure frustration because I wasn’t getting anywhere with Cellu. I gave them the tracking number & they replied back almost immediately with photo proof: except IT WASN’T MY DELIVERY !
On the exact day and time my parcel had been apparently “delivered” (according to Kate) the photo proof showed it was NOT my parcel. So this tracking number was wrong all this time.
I sent Kate proof of delivery- it was a parcel from a clothing company (not even Cellu) so how they got this tracking number is beyond me.
November 10th Kate replies to me:
“I’m very sorry for the confusion and inconvenience caused by receiving the wrong tracking link. I’ve escalated this issue to our logistics team right away, as it appears the replacement order may have been sent to the wrong address.”
It’s now November 21 and still NO REPLY from Kate.
DO NOT buy from this company.

December 1st
Still no closure on this.
It’s already been established my replacement item was sent to the wrong address. But they are not helping me close this once and for all with a refund.
Kate sent me the reply below to my inbox last week but it’s a lie because they are not helping resolve it. I have asked repeatedly for a refund.
As soon as I post a comment here an email gets sent to my inbox along the lines of “they are working to resolve it”.
I have no doubt now that Kate is even a real person.
Terrible company to deal with.

I have been using this Crepey Skin…
I have been using this Crepey Skin cream for a few weeks now on my arms, legs, neck and chest and I’m so pleased with the results. Not only does it reduce the crepey skin, but it leaves my skin so soft and youthful looking. Be sure to use it every day for the best results. I love it.

My 66 year old creepy skin looks a lot better and holds the moisture so much better since using this.
Waste of money
Where do I even start with this Cellu Cream? The ads promised a miracle, sh that were supposed to be mine after a few weeks. Spoiler alert: they're not. I slathered this stuff on twice a day, every day, like the instructions said. It smells nice, I'll give it that, kind of like coconut.
The texture is thick, which I guess feels luxurious at first, but it takes forever to rub in. And don't even think about putting clothes on right away unless you want to feel like you're wearing a greasy sausage casing. Honestly, I think my skin might be a little softer, but that could just be from all the extra moisturizing. As for the "firming" action? Nonexistent.
Seriously, save your money. This cream is just an overpriced moisturizer with a fancy label. I'm convinced the only thing it firms up is the company's bank account

I am 75 and was pretty excited to receive and try this product. The delivery was very quick and nicely packaged. I have only been trying it on my arms for 3 days, morning and night and while I don’t expect to see any magical results yet on my crinkles, my skin does feel a whole lot better and the product is easy to apply. My skin is certainly a lot softer.

I bought one jar of the Crepey Skin Repair Cream for the first time. Tried it, nothing special. Binned it. A few weeks later, I received confirmation that I had been billed again for another jar, and it had been shipped. I never signed up for a subscription, so it must have been a pre-ticked field that I missed during my first and only purchase. Upon reading the email receipt for my purchase, I realised that my subscription saves me .... wait for it ... 3p per jar on a product costing £21.12 instead of £21.15. Yay me. You can't cancel the subscription on the website; instead, you must contact customer service, which will then send you an online form. Not happy.

Totally not risk free!!
Was advised that the cream gets sent from Netherlands.
Well that isn’t true at all. The cream is sent from China.
The pots are labelled ‘made in PRC’ so I’d go as far to say the whole set up is in China and they’ve simply used Netherlands as a cover for this sham of a company.
The cream has a smell like others have already commented - cooking oil, engine oil. It’s truly vile. It leaves a horrific tacky feeling once applied.
Oh and the 60 day risk free returns?
That doesn’t exist. They’ll answer your first email with ‘the formula has changed since you ordered’ ‘refund you 25%’
When replying to them to ask for the full refund they then offer 35% and to save hassle of returns to the international fulfillment centre at YOUR cost (read China) you can keep the creams.
Their website does not mention anywhere that their risk free returns at made at the customers cost.
I’ve successfully got a full refund but only after pointing out their website is misleading-
‘ a “60-Day Risk-Free Trial”, implies that customers can try the product without financial risk. However, this is not the case. Under UK consumer law, specifically the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 and the Consumer Protection from Unfair Trading Regulations 2008, businesses are required to provide clear and accurate information regarding return costs prior to purchase. Advertising must not mislead and your omission of key details constitutes a misleading omission of material information that could influence a consumer’s decision to buy. Failing to clearly present return costs before purchase Consumer Contracts (Information, Cancellation and Additional Charges) Regulations 2013 - the seller must clearly state, before purchase, who pays for return shipping. This was not clearly disclosed and is nowhere in your website - that is unlawful.
Your marketing practices are misleading and lack transparency. The absence of a business address on your website, coupled with the fact that the product ships from China, raises significant concerns. This misrepresentation erodes consumer trust and breaches consumer protection regulations. ‘

60 day "risk free" trial is not risk free as you have to pay to return the items overseas. Where is this mentioned on the website? Nowhere.
I tried to cancel the order because the shipping took so long despite the company advertising "fast shipping". I tried to cancel within the statutory cooling off period. They just ignored me and repeatedly sent me the same email.
They ignore your emails so that you accept the offer of keeping the items for 50% refund because you have no other choice. Even the email asking me for feedback will only send you to Trustpilot to leave a review if you give high stars. If you want to leave 1 star it redirects you to Cellu's website.
I have never received my order .
I have never received my order .. but I keep receing emails asking for me to review their product. It's been 3 weeks since my purchase. I find it ironic that the vendor has time to ask for a review but but no time or desire to provide a shipping update.
Confused
I wasn’t sure what to put here as I am presuming skin is skin do it would work equally well on men’s skin as well as for women. It doesn’t. I even bought the new and improved but it looks the same as my original pot so haven’t used it. Not sure why there are so many happy customers.

Brilliant. Arrived no problem. Beautiful and well researched, balanced ingredients. Instant softening, absorbs like silk, does what it says. No horrid scent to mess with my delicate organic perfumes or health. Best moisturiser ive ever tried. Very impressed buying more for my friends.
They do not accept returns for refunds
The cream did not work for me but they wouldn't accept a return for refund but only offered a small percentage of my money back, even though they say you can get a refund if you're not satisfied.

Product took a month to be delivered. Constant emails to the Customer Service team as the claim that the delivery was being processed was unsubstantiated and the tracking number didn't work. Asked to cancel the repeat order and was told there was none in place, and then had a reminder that the next payment would be taken before the first order had even been received. Eventually received the delivery but would not recommend as, although responsive and polite, the customer service was of no help and the order was only resent when I advised I would be calling in the credit card company
