Item delay not deliver, cancel takes 5 to 7 days and refund was delayed
Item was ordered on 2nd April 2025 eta about 10th April, lsst updated item still in China o 5th April. When contacted Lazada today on 14th April helpdesk suggested and state they need 5 to 7 days to cancel this order and the refund will be delayed😡. Possible don't buy from Lazada service turn from bad to worse now.

Rejecting refund/Late delivery#Lazada fraud
I read another case like mine on this platform. Someone is doing #Lazadafraud. First Lazada does not deliver by promised date. Then put me on a never ending loop of writing the same thing for endless number of times including all the proofs. Every time u write in customer care chat..you need to wait for a long time and then if u dont reply in 2min they disconnect. And you continue telling your story to AI..even agents keep repeating statements like AI..What do they think of customer?? Do v have all the free time and money in the world.

Lazada is going from bad to worse! They don't held any responsibilty with dogdy seller.I received my order partially from China without my chairs,only to receive table.Now my redmart order came only 2 items instead of 11 items,only being informed by the delivery guy last minute telling the rest items will be refunded.What an awful service by wholesome! Just to elaborate,think twice when about to purchase at Lazada.Things may come last minute unpleasant! Safe shopping!

The absolute worst - re Redmart.
I placed a Redmart order and bought two things which I didn’t need. I wanted to return them and contacted lazada. They said to send it back with my next order - which I did. The delivery driver even took a photo.
I never got my money back and I called and contacted their live chat. Each time I would get some BS response cause the imbeciles they employ on their customer service desk haven’t got a clue and just want to meet their KPIs for how many calls they takes. It’s over $70 that I lost because of these idiots.
So I’m wondering where the items went? I should have kept the items and sold them on. Carousell for a loss - better than trying to send it back to these scamsters.
I’ve not shopped on there since and urge you also not to use redmart or lazada. It’s an absolute joke.

Received item broken and delivered at wee hours, request for return and refund. The whole process was draggy. The item is heavy and left at doorstep. Nobody picked up. Nobody can escalate my issue and nobody advice next course of action.
Never buy taobao thru Lazada. Taobao not replying. Lazada don't know anything and can't help, ask me to find taobao but they totally ignored me.
The whole process was stressful.
Shopee has a so much better after sales and rectified swiftly.
No wonder Lazada laid off so many staff as they know all are incompetence taking monthly salary using autoreply bot.
Worst customer experience
Worst customer experience, I tried to purchase an item for 10 times, was told that my payment was rejected and given me instructions to re-install app, changed pin and call my bank for checks, I did everything trusting this would be a good procedure but nothing work out. I called a second day to live agent and was served by a rude customer service agent who given me slobbish and raised voice on repeatedly which I told her off I need someone who is better and more qualified to serve me. She just rant back at me again saying that there is no need to know her full name as the conversation been recorded, she given an email with no instructions of cut and paste of snap shot and told me to listen to her instructions. This is absurd that she is even plain lazy to write on email on instructions to screen shot error payment message. The whole email is not stating about screen shot but yet she demanded it to be the right way. I do not wish to lament more about her poor below par customer service and attitude. Was there even customer service training in the first place? Was she even considerate enough to think that it was a two day even over 10 times trying to make a purchase and thinking my account or my bank account been compromised. She did not for a moment think about customer just drag reply with no tonality except raised voice on me.

Seller is a fraud. Sent me a small packet of fish hooks instead of my 4 nos. shower panels costing hundreds. Tracking number given was the parcel with the fish hooks so no mistake. When I asked the Seller he said it is a gift. The actual parcel will arrive a few days later. I asked for the tracking number and Seller never replied. It is obvious the seller intention is playing for time. Once the time lapsed for return and refund there is nothing the Buyer can do. Luckily I took video of the opening of the package and sent to Lazada for refund the moment I received this small parcel and told Lazada to ban this Seller. Checked with Lazada and my bank but the money was not credited back and the Seller was not blocked until I threatened to make a police report. The seller was blocked immediately but at least 5 "new Sellers" sprung up immediately, showcasing the same items. What type of control or collaboration is Lazada having with these Sellers? 50/50 arrangements? My bank will also be taking action on the seller and Lazada and will void the transaction.
I think Lazada management should start to wake up and investigate what is happening on their platform. Otherwise they may end up like the 3 top management officers in the recent case of "SP". To all buyers out there, if you encounter the same, I advise you to step forward and make a police report as there is definitely something going on on the platform. I noticed the same with another platform starting with A. They are becoming dangerous platforms as the management seems to ZZZZ.
Need no Lazada. You are on your own when there is problem.
I recently made a purchase via Lazada and had a horrible experience in regards to returns and refunds. Even though the items I returned met the return policy, I was denied a refund by the seller, and Lazada refused to help and dismissed the case. Know that you might get no help if anything goes wrong while you are making a purchase on Lazada. BUYER BEWARE.
Update: Ridiculously, after my follow up complaint to the customer service, they created another return instruction for me. Items have already been received but refund denied. What am I going to do with the return instruction? Buy again to return???
They also ignore my instructions to close my Lazada account!
Beware about buying electronics on…
Beware about buying electronics on Lazada. I bought a coffee grinder which broke down within 4 days of delivery. I actually made attempt to contact the merchant who was non responsive. This merchant then game the system by writing to me after I raise a refund request, and very quickly cease communication upon canceling my request. I dispute this case with Lazada whose customer service (CS) claim I lack evidence and did not communicate with the merchant, despite me sharing the video in the dispute submission. I have already contacted my bank card center to dispute this payment. This is all within 15 days of receiving the item.
Unbelievable Team Action
I would like to take this opportunity to report an unpleasant shopping experience at Lazada.
I purchased a set of Xreal AR glasses and Xreal Beam Pro at Lazada for $500.
Below are the details of the order:

However, I received two pairs of socks instead of the AR glasses. Please see the attached photos.
I therefore file for a refund because this is likely a fraud. To my surprise, the Lazada team rejected my request, quoting the following reason:
“The AR glasses are fragile so the seller sent the socks first and will send the AR glasses three days later. “
But till now, I have not heard anything from the seller. Moreover, the reasoning given by the seller and agreed by the Lazada team is unfounded. First, why is that
the seller cannot send the goods at first attempt especially when the parcel is delivered by Sinpost? Is this a common practice for all valuable parcels?
Second, there is no info about the second shipment as it will not be tracked by the Lazada platform and hence who can assure that the goods will finally be
shipped to me? Because there is no separate tracking in the Lazada platform. It is out of the radar system! And it potentially can be a loophole for the
unscrupulous seller to take advantage.
I hope Lazada can investigate the matter as I am deeply upset by the Lazada team who rejected the refund request.
I hope something can be done to uphold the security and faith of Lazada, which is a common shopping platform for many Singaporeans.

Buying a few times
Been buying from them a few times, they have a wide range of products where I can choose. When I buy products from online platform, I would compare their prices at least 2 platforms.
Usually, I would choose who offers the lowest price. There are a few products which I bought from them and their price is lower compared with other platform.
Hopefully, they can continue to be in this way.
dangerous platform
i've been shopping online for nearly 20 yrs. Mostly amazon and ebay in the early years, and in recent years etsy, shopee and lazada. few things i discovered, which kind of shocked me.
1. their logistics coordination is nothing short of horrible, even in tiny Singapore.
2. their system automatically cancels your "refund request" after a certain number of days (7 days i think 7), even if it's their fault for not sending couriers to pick up the item.
3. one will need to call their customer service to reinstate the "refund request" status.
4. and they never do. i've been speaking to at least 4 different customer service agents in 2 days and each one said "the matter had been escalated" etc etc and that i would be able to click the return button within the hour (said one agent), within 24 hours (said another), but every new conversation with a new agent reveals that the previous one had lied. The latest agent said "no, only the request was submitted".
it has reached a point of almost being pointless to call their customer service, since i cant tell who's telling the truth any more. definitely definitely, my worst EVER, online shopping experience. i will never ever buy from another mainland chinese owned platform. it's their only way out from their over-production and over-capacity problems.
No commitment to support the client in case the seller is not trustworthy
Unfortunately Lazada has proportionally many more sellers that are not trustworthy than any other platform. That is still ok if they are committed to provide the right service, but recently I have cases where they refused to pay you back for wrong delivery (order what was clearly announced as a1TB SSD and got a miserable 64GB instead). Clearly a mistake from the sellers/platform but they refused to take responsibility by hiding behind some company rules in order to avoid a refund.
My redmart delivery never arrived
My redmart delivery never arrived. I rang the customer service number several times, each agent gave me a different story and guaranteed my delivery. It never showed. No one could tell me where it was or why it wasn’t delivered. I just kept waiting up all night, hour by hour. I finally had to cancel it and was compensated $5. What a disgusting joke. Never again.
