The returning user experience on this site is unnecessarily obstructive. Initial card redemption works reasonably, but coming back months later requires jumping through excessive, poorly designed hoops.
Being forced to 'register again' using an existing email address points to a broken account system, while requiring an extra login layer — very poorly signposted on screen — just to view card details adds frustration rather than security. The authentication flow is inconsistent, confusing and makes accessing stored funds far harder than it needs to be

Thanks for the quick response. I don’t need assistance — and hopefully won’t in future. But the design for accessing existing cards needs serious attention. Returning after a few months forces a pointless “new‑for‑old” re‑registration, followed by waiting six minutes for a five‑minute OTP then a second login step to get to the card details. None of this is helpful; it actually feels deliberately obstructive by frustrating users when accessing their own cards.

The lady who I spoke to was lovely, very polite and efficient. My expired cards were resolved extremely quickly. I cannot rate the lady highly enough. She is a credit to the customer service team....give her a pay rise, she deserves it.

Your platform doesn’t help on any fraud being happening to me because the fraud person knows your very loose rules on e-gift card which I have to face the financial loss.

Wouldn’t let me leave zero stars……total scammers. Received 2 x £25 gift cards as a birthday present only to have cards declined in a busy shop.
Phoning the helpline it transpired that a known problem of funds not uploading onto the card, despite the fact that Love 2 Shop/Scam could see the till swipes meaning our friend had £50 debited from his account that was not transferred to the cards.
We do not know where the cards were purchased and do not want to contact our friend to ask for the money….it is Love 2 Shop’ s problem (a known one according to the shockingly poor customer service advisor)
I can only recommend everyone to steer well clear of this company

Waste of time, I was given one of these for £50 from work, had them before from work. Tried to add to my account but apparently it’s the wrong type so can’t be added.
I was going to exchange for Sainsbury’s vouche rs (minus their fee)because they are easier to use.
I then entered the card details and the list of shops is quite small and there are lots of restrictions making the whole user experience painful. You are better off getting cash that can be used anywhere and doesn’t expire!

Card was never activated by retailer and without a receipt the card is now useless. £40 wasted. Don't use these card and give cash or bank transfer instead. Much safer and more flexible.

I was given a love2shop voucher by my hospital when I was having chemo - it was given to me in February of this year.

I have just tried to use it, but it says it expires in February of this year - the same month I was given it. Hospital said it was new when purchased.

Is that normal to be given a card with an expiry on the same month? When I have bought them before as presents, they usually last a year. I buy these vouchers often and never come across this before.

I have tried contacting customer services via phone, “email” via their website, and chat bot - none seem to actually work.

I can submit the number if needed / I thought it might be a mistake?

I had an issue activating a gift card so had to contact customer service. Reply was thorough and very quick even though I had managed to overcome issue myself

Received a physical gift card as a gift but when trying to use it in the listed retailers none of them will touch it. They only accept the e gift card online. When contacting love to shop they said they could not help to try other retailers. I did just that, all retailers listed do not accept the gift card so I am left with a gift card that I cant use. They won't change it to a digital card either. Do not waste your money on it, its all a con

I don't think it was me who shopped with you. A scammer calling himself Philip S and purporting t b from Microsoft made a number of purchases for gift cards on my card. I have reported him too the bank fraud department with some telephone numbers he gave and taken my computer to be checked.

had a load £700 of vouchers expire by a few months and wouldnt do anything to help.

not a very useful company will avoid these vouchers in the future

They give you paper vouchers and most common retailers will NOT exept them. What a wast of £500 Avoid this company at all cost 0/10

Just an awful experience, if you hate someone consider getting them a love2shop voucher. Their business model is built on extreme complexity and hoping customers give up prior to spending the amount they’ve been gifted.

I am incredibly disappointed to have lost a £100 voucher due to a restrictive six-month expiry policy. While I accept responsibility for missing the expiration date hidden in the email, six months is an unreasonably short window for a gift card. Most retailers offer at least 12 to 24 months.

It feels like a harsh policy that pockets customer money rather. Check your emails closely so you do not lose your money too. Having experienced this I would not buy these vouchers as gifts for others.

So bad. Don't bother. Unfortunately, I was given one. I purchased a Hobbycraft eGift Voucher. When I tried to use it there was nothing on the balance. I contacted Hobbycraft, they said to contact Love2Shop. I contacted Love2Shop, they said to contact Hobby craft. And back and forth it went. Eventually I spoke with a very helpful lady at Love2Shop. But what a massive massive waste of an hour and a half.
