Terrible experience as a seller
Terrible experience as a seller. I recommend you avoid selling here, there are other better alternatives if you search a little more around. Their payment system makes you wait 30 days and then its almost a guarantee that it won't be on time (go read more reviews, same issues, same excuses). My payment date and time has just passed and no sign of my money or any comms from them about a delay and where as previously they were quick to answer my emails, for some reason they are no longer responding.
Good platform and issue resolved professionally
I sold my bike through MyNextBike and found the platform clear, professional, and easy to use. The front-end experience was strong, and the collection and delivery process worked well.
There was a delay in the final payment process, which caused some concern at the time. However, once I raised the issue, Matt contacted me directly, clearly explained the position, and resolved the matter professionally.
Overall, I think MyNextBike has a strong proposition and offers a useful service for people selling good-quality bikes. I hope they continue to develop the communication process for sellers, especially around payment timelines.
Based on my overall experience and the way the issue was resolved, I am happy to leave a positive review and wish the business well.
I wish I had never used MyNextBike..
I wish I had never used MyNextBike... I sold a bike last month through the platform. Everything was straightforward and easy on their site and I was having a good experience so far. They take a chunky cut of the sale, which I thought was going towards admin costs, but as everything was running smoothly I thought it would be worth it. But here I am, a month later and no idea where the money is.
The web worked great up until the moment they picked up my bike, then it was complete silence from them. You would expect at least some sort of update - when the bike is received, if there are any issues on the 48 hour period, or when the payment will be done, but I had absolutely nothing from them. For all I know, a month ago someone took my bike and that's the end of the story.
I really hope we can sort this out without having to take legal action but, if I could go back, I would 100% not use this site, can only recommend you do the same!!

Absolutely outstanding
MyNextBike is simply amazing, in every way, I would give them 10 stars if that was an option. Their product plugs a real gap in the market and is the only place where you can legitimately sell e-bikes in the UK, with a peace of mind. The user experience could not be smoother, and their customer service is simply outstanding. The support team are great, very knowledge and quick to respond, with Harry being an absolute STAR. He could not have been any more helpful and went the extra mile with every single query I had (literally) and made the whole selling experience really easy and enjoyable. MyNextBike has clearly been created by individuals who are not only passionate about bikes, but also understand what really matters when it comes to matching sellers and buyers successfully online. Their website is simple and super easy to use, with all the essentials and no unnecessarily frills. There were two features in particular that stood out for me, as a seller: (1) you can have multiple offers on the go until a sale is confirmed and (2) you are notified if potential buyers have added the bike you are selling to their wish list so that you can make an offer to them, increasing the chances and the speed of finding a new home/owner for your bike. I sold my bike within days of listing. I also liked the fact that I could upload a large number of photos, with no size limitations, which removed the stress of having to choose which photos to add – and also gave full transparency to interested buyers about the condition of the bike. Additionally, they offer equally fair protection to both buyers and sellers and remain involved throughout the entire selling/buying process which was a bonus. I was expecting to find a 'but' somewhere, but there was none. I could not recommend MyNextBike more highly – if you are looking to sell or buy a pre-loved bike, this is THE place, with no competition. I wish there were similar websites for other products! Congrats to the entire team and thank you again for the amazing support from the team.

Sold 2 bikes recently
Sold 2 bikes - one on 19 Feb the second on 24 Feb just received our monies today 21 April!!
The selling process is excellent cannot fault it So easy to set upon the web it is just the chasing up we had to do to receive our monies it caused us a lot of anxiety a third party is involved in the payment side and this is what we got told held things up the Director and Harry apologised for the delay numerous times but we were on edge about when we were going to receive our monies
The site is let down by this and as in previous selling reviews their answer is it is in the process of changing All the buyers reviews are fantastic ones probably due to the great bikes that are sold on there Our two although a few years old were in mint condition
Would I sell through them again - probably not until they get the payment of monies due to the customer sorted it should have taken no more than 30 days for 1st bike and no
More than 14 days for 2nd bike according to the website but it was way way over this
They broke their contract with us and when we mentioned taking the matter further it was then things speeded up and we received our monies

Not used this site before. Has my bike on the ’usual' second hand platform - it wasn't selling. Tried Mynextbike - it sold in days for almost the full asking price. Collection was so quick and so easy - just had to take of the pedals....that's it. Had a query about the payment and Harry emailed me all the info, he was quick, knew his stuff and was very helpful. Overall, a really excellent service and the next time I sell a bike, it'll be the only site I use. Highly recommended.

The whole process, from listing to selling, was seamless. I was very surprised to sell the bike in 1 day. When I had additional questions, the customer service from Harry and Matt was excellent.
Considering the risks and complications involved in selling bikes, MNB gives you peace of mind through well-thought-out protections.
Payment was received in accordance with their terms and conditions for a first-time seller. I would not hesitate to recommend this company again.
Brilliant, reliable way of buying a 2nd hand bike
It's a great scheme and really takes the worry about buying second hand. The system works really well and the courier service ensures that the bike arrives safely but importantly you don't have to re-assemble which would have been impossible for me. Just removed one star as the communication could have been a bit better at the later stage but overall, excellent.
Excellent customer care / follow up
Advertising and selling my bike on the platform worked satisfactorily. Once sold, I then opted to have the bike collected and this arrangement also worked well.
The company went slightly beyond their “normal” payment period however this is probably be due to the Easter period.

Matt (the Co director) resolved the payment promptly and then followed this up with a courtesy call where he apologised for the minor delay and explained some of the improvements they’ve put in place recently to address this.
I would have no hesitation in using Mynextbike again to buy or sell a bike.
Great for looking and great customer service
Great for looking for bikes but i find it highly unlikely that they serviced my bike like what I payed for as there was no mention of the brakes needing a bleed and the front brake pads replaced I didn't even want them to fix it only tell me so I could have the stuff ready to do it myself and the chain need to be oiled and cleaned im very disappointed and will not be using them again
Update they reached out to me and refunded me for the service and shipping great customer service would use again and it's not them what do the service it's another company

Sale of 2 Bicycles
I recently sold 2 bicycles on MyNextBike. With these sales they used 2 different couriers. I found the first courier's booking system overly complex and poor. They appeared at my house without an agreed booking and when I complained to their manager he was rude. Their second courier was an improvement with polite employees. However both couriers used vans without a decent racking system but they did protect the bikes with blankets. Neither would issue a receipt for my bicycles. MyNextBike's payment system was very slow and with both sales I had to chase payment. They also change their payment system but it did not speed up payment. That said they always responded quickly by e mail and payment was made. Overall a slightly worrying, dis-jointed process which needs system improvement.

Excellent service from mynextbike,got a great bike at a cracking price,small problem with courier who broke down hence my bike was later coming,not a problem though wasnt couriers fault,these things happen! Recommend this company to get you a bike.
