Very clunky. Poor customer service. Take ages when you sell, then take a big chunk off you. Better off sticking with Ebay.

The whole process was so easy and the service and collection were fantastic . The only issue is the waiting time for payment. But the payment terms are explained and is paid on the date given .

I recently used Mynextbike for the first time and purchased a used road bike. I found the process really simple. Having collected the bike and inspected it at home I found some problems that were not consistent with the description. I contacted MyNextBike and they asked me to document them and provide estimates or invoices for the repairs. I did so by email and they said they would review them, review the listing and talk to the seller. Withing a couple of days they contacted me to say they agreed there was an issue and has issued a partial refund under the buyer protection policy. I was impressed by the ease of dealing with them and that the protection works. Used bikes are a minefield, I don't expect them to be as new but as described. I would recommend this platform, it helps!

I had a very unexpected phone call from Matt this morning. He was extremely sorry for what had happened and refunded the whole amount.

I feel what they offer is a great, well thought out service. Communication is okay, via email and they did reply within 24 hours 👍🏼. I do think they could do with a follow up service as I feel we as customers I left in the dark waiting.

The whole process was incredibly easy and straightforward, with excellent communication throughout. What really stood out was how quickly the payout was processed — there was no unnecessary waiting around, and everything was handled efficiently and professionally.

Customer service and communication is very good.
Courier service very good.
Payment format needs tweaking up I feel the payment should be put into your bank a/c on the day the bike is collected.

Although the selling process was relatively streamlined sold bike, Courier arranged, bike collected etc. Once collected you are not notified about it's progress if it arrived at its destination, With the hope of receiving payment. I was then later emailed asking for the proof of purchase further delaying the payment process.. Can I suggest having this as a preliminary part to upload to avoid delays later down the line? The customer services were very good and Matthew Coulthard saved this review from being 1 star. Thanks Matt.

I purchased a bike through this site, and the money was taken from my account immediately.

I selected the pickup option because the seller lived in my city. Due to some issues with the seller receiving the payment, it took 8 days and quite a lot of contact with customer service to finally arrange the pickup. Customer service were very nice and apologetic throughout, although they could sometimes be a little difficult to reach. :)

Overall, I would recommend this site to anyone looking to purchase a bike.

I would, however, suggest introducing some kind of automated process for transferring the money once a bike has been collected, so that customers don’t have to contact customer service so much. For example, something similar to the collection code you share with a seller when picking something up through eBay could make the process much easier.

I had my first experience with My Next Bike and it was excellent from start to finish. Julie and Matt are amazing, they truly go above and beyond. Always quick to respond and extremely professional. The service charge is absolutely worth it for your peace of mind. I highly recommend them!

Everything about the process was great and the support I received from the company via email was excellent. And then the date that the money from my sale was supposed to be paid passed with nothing; no money and no explanation. I am assured that this is a legitimate business, but sadly from many reviews and personal experience it seems they struggle to honour the agreement they set regarding payment timeliness.

Addendum: Following day, after emailing company, payment was rectified. Have amended score from 1 star to 3 star. Should not require intervention for a sales platform to complete a sale. But should repeat that the customer service was great throughout, certainly isn't their fault that the companies processes aren't quite working properly.

My last bike that I sold ENGWE Zip was sold and pick up by Bike courier last week . It’s now been delivered without and issues. I have received my payment with the time scale stated and correct amount. So that’s brilliant and would recommend services

My bike sold successfully and for the asking price so their customer base appears to be wide. Great communication and system to sell the bike and deliver it to the buyer. Only issue is the waiting time to receive payment but they are working on that to make it more convenient. Will use again on the future.

Sold my 2nd bike with mynextbike and everything went smoothly from pick up, delivery and payment. Was kept in touch with both Julie, who was a absolute star and Matt. Would definitely recommend if you have a bike to sell and stay away from other platforms

A friend's recommendation of MyNextBike as well as the high scores here on Trustpilot gave me a lot of confidence before using them - and indeed my experience buying an ebike using MyNextBike was first rate. Paid using PayPal, order confirmed straight away. Comms really good. (I opted for their recommended 'Cycle Courier Co' delivery and this too went swimmingly - the bikes are properly restrained and protected during delivery). A great experience end-to-end, many thanks. MyNextBike and Cycle Courier Co will be my first choice when buying or selling a bicycle.
