I wish I'd seen these reviews before being conned. Order took forever and what was meant to be 'elegant cotton' turned out to be cheap and nasty polyester.
I had very polite emails back from someone called Annie a) when I queried the arrival
b) when this awful dress arrived
But that is meaningless.
I can send it back to China (at own expense - throwing more money after bad investment) or donate to Vinnies but not holding out any hope of a refund
Avoid this company!

DO NOT BUY FROM THIS COMPANY!!!

The seller falsely claimed to be based in Melbourne, misleading buyers into purchasing counterfeit leather bags. I purchased these bags, believing them to be genuine leather products from a local business.

However, the bags are synthetic/plastic, not leather as advertised. The products were shipped from China, not Melbourne Australian therefore breaching Consumer Law. I am still trying to get a refund and am flagging to Fair Trading.

I have received the wrong colour dress, not once but twice. Notified them immediately and later in day sent more detail. As requested I sent photos. Haven’t had any response.

I looked really carefully before making a purchase. Alas!!! it is not a Melbourne company. The dress I bought was awful (fabric and colour) I am still trying to organise a refund and return label as it says in their policy details. After reading all these reviews I think I’ve been got!!

AVOID. Absolute rubbish. All too small and horrible cheap materials. Nothing like what they looked like online. Total SCAM. Do not buy. Reporting them to the ACCC as they should not be allowed to sell to Australians.

This Company is a scam. Operates out of China. I ordered a dress, it took over 3 weeks to be delivered, was wrong size and poor quality. To get a refund you have to pay to return it to China, and then they only offered a 25% refund. Avoid this group at all costs. I will donate the item to Vinnies.

Dreadful quality, all synthetic - as soon as I opened it I realised that I have been conned! It is not the closure of a family business in Melbourne it is just cheap rubbish shipped in from China.

SCAM! Avoid at all costs. On Instagram it looks like a legit company based in Melbourne, having a closing down sale. The jumper I received is not cotton as promised but awful plastic / polyester! Unwearable. Leather bag is not leather and absolutely stunk when I opened the parcel.
They are currently offering some terrible partial refund thing whilst claiming they don’t offer free refunds (despite their website saying they have a 30 day money back guarantee). Refusing to answer my questions about the ‘leather’

This company doesn’t deserve even one star but zero stars doesn’t seem to be an option.
I received a summer dress today made of ghastly polyester and spandex. It was described on the website as elegant cotton and looked clean and crisp in the photo.
In addition the sizing is way off the mark.
I won’t even try to return it having read of other people’s experiences.
Can’t something be done about this false advertising?

Dodgy Chinese company claiming to be a legit business based in Melbourne. I ordered a jumper which I did receive however it was not cotton as was advertised it is a horrible polyester material! I have tried to contact them to return it for a refund with no response. DO NOT PURCHASE ANYTHING FROM THEM!

Ladies ..... Do not purchase clothes from a company called NOLA from Melbourne. They claim to be from Melbourne but are actually Chinese. I have ordered something which was supposed to be here 5 to 9 business days. Now they say 15 days. They say that you can exchange it within 30 days but you don't get it. I have asked them to cancel my order but they say it is to late. They just play you along with lying emails. I have paid by PayPal so will contact them.
This is my 2nd time I have lost money to scammers. Thought it was genuine because I paid by PayPal and it was supposed to be a Melbourne shop.

As mentioned in other reviews, the company is misleadingly called Nola Melbourne, but isn’t an Australian company at all. I ordered a top over three weeks ago. The money came out of my account and I received an order confirmation promptly - however I’m still yet to receive my order. When I use the tracking link from their email it says the item is still at a facility in China. I have doubts I will ever receive it.

NoT located in Melbourne. Their name is intentionally misleading, as is the statement they use Auspost. Is a scam. Drop shipper from China. Ordered dresses did not look like photos on website and didn't fit. On website lists terms and conditions of returns which list no fuss returns but you have to return to china. They keep trying to offer partial refund so you keep the item. Exchanges they charge an additional $10 per item which is not in their t&cs. Lots of back and forth emails to just get the address to return items to which again is different to the one listed in the T&Cs. Makes it very difficult to return. As it is in China it is not very economical to return via post.

There is also Wilson Melbourne and I also found a ......Brisbane shop.
Their websites are identical, except the names.
Items purchased seem to be sent from Hong Kong.
Both came up with "closing down sale" in Facebook adds.
Quality of all items, poor.

I ordered the Ulla elegant dress - size 8 on 17/10/24. I it was confirmed and I paid the $69.95. However, I did not receive a receipt and checked my bank statement. It stated that they have taken out my payment of $69.95. Trying to contact them by email but kept on just receiving an email promoting discount from a certain person named Emma. I cannot get a person to answer my query receipt.

I purchases 2 tops the same , only one came , they were friendly enough , because I never had receipt , no help whatsoever, also took to long to come , and the shade of color was different, I would not reccomend at all

The company do not reply for a long time. Even when given all the information and photos of items they requested no information as to where to return items. Quality of clothing is very poor. This is not a business to do rely on.

Terrible service! Not a Melbourne based company. Dress didnt arrive in delivery time, I requested to cancel the order and they advised that they were sending. I asked again to cancel as event had passed and dress no longer required. I sent over 20 emails requesting order update & refund. They sent it anyway! I then had to pay for it to be sent back with tracking before they would refund my money....at a cost of $35.

I bought a winter jacket from Nola Melbourne expecting Australian quality, but it arrived with Chinese tags and cheaply made fabric that didn't match the online color. The delivery took over a week from outside Australia, which wasn't mentioned during purchase. Overall, the jacket didn't meet their promised quality and origin claims, so I wouldn't recommend buying from them.
