RescueMate Mobile Tyres 

I wouldn’t even give one 1 star if this was an option! Rang this morning as I had a blow out. Asked for TWO tyres to be replaced at the roadside and was asked to pay the full £259 up front, over the phone. When the tyre fitter arrived I was told that he was only aware of the one tyre? When I rang and spoke with the same person who booked the job in, he said “oh, yes, I do remember you mentioning the 2 tyres but I thought you said you only wanted the one replacing” absolute RIP OFF! £259 for ONE TYRE!!! And before this company replies with a threat.. No this isn’t slander and you can’t sue me for my review on your TERRIBLE service. I have seen another review today from someone who has experienced exactly the same as I have so I will be taking this further and I will not stop until I get every penny back that you have stolen from me. Shocking! To add to your reply, you state that I am not a customer of yours and yet you remember what was on the receipt you sent to me? Threatening customers is disgusting behaviour, what kind of company are you?

After explaining that we wanted 2 new tyres on our caravan and it has tyron bands was told their fitters could do the job, we had to pay upfront 280pound, when the mobile fitter arrived 2 hours later he removed the wheel then informed us he didn't have equipment to do the work as didn't have equipment and also only one tyre, when speaking to Gareth about refund was told it would take 10 to 15 days and they would have to keep 150pound, do not use these rip off merchants I wouldn't give them any stars but site wouldn't allow

DO NOT use this company! Absolute scam artist. We was stranded at the side of the road due to a blow out called up and spoke with someone and paid £269 for 2 tyres via telephone and they would be with us in 60-90 minutes. 2.5 hours later they turned up with 1 tyre and said there had been an error and that's how much it is for one! They literally scammed us over the phone! Thank god we paid via credit card as we are going to get them to look into this company further.

P.S I wished I checked their Google reviews! Looks like they've been scamming people for a while and then contacting people to change their reviews! Someone has even contacted consumer rights and I think that's the best option for ANYONE who has been through similar. Hard working people should NOT have to counter companies like this!

Decided to hit a pot hole on the way to work. Tyre was completely wrecked and being a newish car no spare.
Rescuemate to the rescue.
Came within the hour as promised. Weather was awful too, but the Fitter came with a smile, replaced tyre quickly and efficiently. Absolutely fantastic service.
He gave me his card which I've kept in the car.

Very helpful on phone when explaining situation.
Gave me a waiting time which was accurate and kept me informed of where mechanic was and how long he would be.
Would definitely use again

An overnight puncture, and a car with no spare.. browsed the Internet for services and found RescueMate - had a call back within minutes (of enquiry).

A promise of the driver being 5-10 minutes away. We chose RescueMate from the 45 minute "promise" on the website. However the estimate given on the phone and website somewhat misleading as it took about 90 minutes (doubt anyone could have done it quicker) ..

.. but would like more realistic "timings" rather than unrealistic promises. That said - service was great, and when the driver got on site - tyre was changed and issues fixed within 10 minutes.

Service was outstanding, wording and communication misleading - but still a great service regardless.

Quick to answer my call and rapid turn out to the scene of my puncture called me back several times to get precise location and give an ETA, choice of tyre for replacement, technician was quick and friendly, will use them again if it ever happens again 👍👍👍👍👍😊

Absolutely shocking that my son had run flat tyres. Not understanding what this meant he called these rip offs. I explained to him he can still drive to a garage to which he called these rip offs and they said it would be a £120 cancellation fee. He then waited over two hours for a crap tyre to be fitted at over double the price of his run flats. Then when I called they hung up the phone. Rip off do not use.

Fantastic I put my phone number in and got a call with in minutes,I expected it to be costly as they coming out to me BUT definitely worth it. Damn pot holes. All in all excellent service all the way

Completed the online form to request mobile service. It informed they had someone available and they would contact within minutes.
Unfortunately I’ve still to receive a call after 1 hour.
I would have appreciated a call if they were unable to assist.

As I have no way to reply to Rescue mate on this platform I felt it necessary to reply here.

Thank you for the threat of a deformation lawsuit and assuring everyone who can view this that I am instantly 100% wrong in my experience with you without context or contacting me.

Why are you so defensive? Do you not have the good grace to message or call customers to understand their frustration,
and to maybe rectify the situation to understand why they felt the need to leave this review?

You can see that most negative reviews of 2 star or lower have been met with instant threats of legal action rather than trying to reach out to these customers who had a negative experience.

Personally, I don’t feel my review was too bad (other than the rating/title) but I just highlighted my experience and that I was not offered a repair and was persuaded to get a new tyre by your staff.

Even the mechanic who helped me questioned ‘how was the customer service’ as they get negative feedback thinking they are part of your company even though you outsource it!

Why not spend your valuable time addressing these issues, rather than threatening legal action?

Excellent service, I had a puncture and needed to be at work within the hour and they managed to sort it all out and have me back on the road in time for work! I would highly recommend rescue mate!

I had a puncture after going into a pothole in Lincolnshire whilst on holiday with the family.
I found that Asda and Halfords offered the mobile service for around £80/90 but would have to wait 2 days for this. I ended up calling Rescuemate who charged me £209 for an eco tyre. At first I was told they’d fix it within 90 mins then got a call back after being charged to say they couldn’t fix it until the next morning. They do charge around £100 cancellation fee if cancelling after 20 mins so instead of doing this I waited.
I called them the next morning at 9am and was told the tyre fitter would arrive at 11am to which they did. Tyre fitter was great, really polite and did state that if I did contact him directly yesterday he would have charged me £100 less and would have been able to fit it yesterday. The service I received from Rescuemate was good, but I’ve rated it 3 stars due to the over price of the tyre and changing the fitting date to the next day rather than the 90 minutes which they state on the website and initial call.

Really smooth process. You pay a little more but for the service this is warranted. Fitter was there within 60 mins

Really friendly and helpful to deal with. Communication was great, and I was never left feeling I wasn't being listened to. The time I was waiting was exactly what they said and there were no surprises. Will definitely recommend them.
