Phone for the service, lady was very helpful and assured me the tyre would be replaced that evening. Asked for all my details and sure enough at the allotted time I got a call from the repair man to say he was here, pleasant man got straight on with changing tyre, all sorted and replaced really quickly. Really helpful and reliable.

On my way to Butlins (Bognor), and had a blow out on the M23. Got straight on Google and found these guys. Spoke to Ryan and within 1hr 15mins the technician was with me and changed the tyre. Brilliant service and Ryan was extremely polite and very helpful. Would definitely recommend this company to anyone.

David, the guy I spoke too was very respectable and very helpful. I don’t know the guys name who fixed my wheel but, he was very respectful and very helpful too. If all your people are as nice as them, then you have a very good team. I would recommend them too friends and family.

I found rescue mate on the Internet when I had a slow puncture on the the last day of my holiday, nightmare. Local companies could fix it in a couple of days, but rescue mate dame and fitted a new tyre in under an hour. Thorough service no fuss.

Phoned them at 8am to be told they'd be 60 minutes.. 4 hours later they arrived..

Quoted £269 for 2 tyres yet no proof via email or anything and once the driver arrived he only had 1 tyre.. To which I was told it was 269 for the 1.. Id never agree to that knowing it was 1 tyre but if I cancelled it was £120 cancellation fee

Stay away!

Advertise 45 mins to be with you then they extend the expected time and then extend it again. Cancellation is £60 even if time is longer than advertised. Over 2.45 hours wait in the end and 30 min to do the job. Was sold ‘premium’ or business plus whatever they call it but they bring you the same brand tyre as this standard ‘ budget’ tyre which is £40 less. Called them and they said ‘we never said premium’ & ‘ you’ll be charged a call out fee still regardless if you take the tyre’. Terrible service and customer service. Really praying on vulnerable people here, lying on their marketing and conning people on their premium tyres. Despise businesses like these it’s shocking they manage to stay operational. Gareth (MD) particularly is remarkably rude, calling me the next day to explain to me how I was wrong and being ridiculous. Initially called to apparently refund me the different in between budget and premium (business/ budget plus) however instead got very angry and rude and rejoiced when I said I was hanging up and he could keep the different in money. Like I say cowboys preying on the vulnerable, call anyone but these 👍

I used the service but had to wait over well over the advised time before my fitter arrived. Paid for a speedy service which wasn't received, would like to discuss in more detail with a member of the organisation.

Very confusing service. Rang and spoke to Abby who arranged someone to come and do the repair / replacement and took payment details. Then was called from the repairer who turned up and completed the repair and asked for payment, although already paid (and could evidence via banking app). After much confusion and a number of calls later (to mobile numbers), was advised it may have been subcontracted out which is why info was missing and not to pay again. Have since had 2 other repairers ring to book in although repair done? Repairs looks ok for now, but time will tell. Not sure I would recommend due to confusing customer care, plus one gentleman on one of the calls was very rude. Repair guy was nice enough and have his card for future repairs direct (if no issue with current one)

Update (22.02) - I was charged for a replacement tyre and it was repaired. Having written a complaint to the company, it is currently being investigated and waiting for a resolution. Thankful they are looking into this and hopefully it will be resolved shortly. Tyre was repaired and quickly as did call in the evening so response time is good.

Update (26.02) - Gareth at RescueMate responded to my complaint very quickly and processed a part refund for the overpayment as the tyre was repairs and not replaced. As mentioned above, they were very quick to get an engineer out to look at my tyre, slightly dearer than other companies but given how quick they came, was happy to pay slightly more

Brilliant help today.although I had to wait for guy to turn up due to delays in traffic they were apologetic,fast and really happy with result from this company.have saved their number should I fall foul of a poorly tyre again

Really fast service technician came in 90 minutes. My tyre damage was more than I thought and my wheel was cracked so the technician tom helped me out and found me a place locally to get it repaired top bloke. 10/10 would recommend if you're stuck needing a quick repair

My complaint email below:

Dear Sir/Madam, 

I am emailing to request a refund. I used your service to have a tyre fitted at my home in an emergency on 16th January 2024. The service whilst costly was quick and I had no issues with booking. The fitter attended my home and replaced my tyre very quickly. 

The next day I drove up to Durham from my home in Surrey. I parked at my hotel and did not use my vehicle again until 19th January. I did not notice when I got in my car and drove to the petrol station to fill up that my newly fitted tyre was completely flat. Fortunately there was a tyre garage next door so I went there. 

I called your company to complain. I was clearly upset and distressed being miles from home, delayed for hours having to wait for a new tyre and spending more money. I expressed that I wanted a refund as the tyre must not have been fitted properly. The staff member (possibly called Gareth) I spoke to could not seem to understand why someone would be upset and frustrated and he become very heightened in his attitude towards me. He told me that I should not have gone to a new place to get the tyre without giving your company the opportunity to resolve the issue; this was ridiculous as I was in Durham so I do not see how your company could have resolved things. Eventually it was agreed that the tyre fitter in Durham would call your staff member when they had finished and let them know what (if any) the issue was.

Once the tyre was fitted I asked if there was a reason it had gone flat. The tyre fitter explained that the person that had previously fitted the tyre had not cleaned the rim and so the tyre had not been correctly sealed and had leaked. The tyre fitter advised that he has used a wire to clean the wheel and some sealant. He spoke to your staff member and explained the issue. 

Your staff member then tried to suggest that there might have been an issue or damage to the tyre from my driving which caused the flat - there was not. I had driven on motorway almost door to door and I had already explained I had not damaged my car. The tyre fitter confirmed no damage to the wheel aside from driving on it flat from my hotel. I could hear your staff member who seemed to trying to convince the tyre fitter to say that the issue was not to do with the previous fitting of the tyre but my fault. The tyre fitter explained that it had been simply down to the previous fitter not having cleaned and sealed the tyre. 

I then spoke to your staff member who offered me the cost of the tyre only. This was not acceptable to me, as I had paid highly for the convenience of having my tyre fitted quickly and at home only to have it not have been done properly. The fact is I was driving on a tyre that was leaking and could have had a blow out on the motorway - the poorly fitted tyre could have cost me my life and that of others had there been an accident on the motorway. It was also incredibly inconvenient and stressful being miles from home and not being able to leave when planned due to having to wait for my tyre to be replaced. 

Your staff member was very rude to me, he did not like that I spoke assertively and certainly was not of the school of thought that the customer is right or even that he should be conciliatory since it is your companies mistake not mine and could have had serious consequences. He was especially upset and angry when I stated I will be leaving a poor review, which given the poor experience I have had with your company is perfectly within my rights to do.

The same guy I spoke with who was rude previously responded to my email and has refused a refund and claims a totally separate tyre garage is lying and I wouldn't have been able to drive on a tyre not properly sealed- which is clearly not true!

Promised to be between 60-90 minutes and even phoned for a more exact ETA.
The technician, Fidel, was very friendly and talkative and extremely experienced and professional.
Maybe a little expensive but they did exactly what was required in an efficient and competent manner.

Amazing service. The man on the phone was super friendly and helpful. Then they arrived quicker than expected and fitted the new tyre quickly too. Friendly service and I would definitely use again.

The man on the phone who took my call was positive, kind and courteous- just what I needed as I was a bit flustered by getting an unexpected flat tyre on a day when I HAD to drive the car again later on.

The man who came to replace the tyre was amazing. He was so calming and really efficient. Thank you so much.

Great service and excellent customer service from the engineer

We desperately needed our tyre replacing for the morning school run. RescueMate called me back in 15mins and had a guy round in the following 30mins, tyre fitted it 10mins! Incredibly fast service and a life saver! Everyone was very professional and polite too

Fast and efficient in getting our flat tyre replaced. My wife had got a nail in her tyre while towing her horse box with horse to her vet.
After providing details of the tyre size and car make and model, they were out within an hour to replace the flat tyre.
