worst company ever
This is by far the worst company ever. I requested service for a simple AC repair as AC was not cooling enough. The team from service market came and said all compressors are working find and maybe just need a bit of gas. Then they were waisting so much time, were unethical asking for direct cash payments so they can fix the compressor, and I asked them to send a quote through service market and after a while they came down asking for ice and cold water. They overheated one of the compressors and ruined it. TOne of the cleaners from service market was available at that day and she was also telling me that the AC maintenance team seems like they dont know what they are doing. I called service market and the guy I spoke to who says he's a manager is Dominique. He promised it will be fixed and then I never heard form him. I called so many times and every time I was promised a call back from him but he never called. After 3 weeks, I spent more than an hour on the phone and over 5 calls and he finally called back saying he is sorry he didnt call and he was trying to follow up with the provider they sent me but they were not responding and that he will send another provider the next day to check on the issue and have it resolved. Then after an hour or so he calls again and he was telling me he wants to send the same unprofessional unethical team that already ruined my compressor and when I said I want another team sent as I dont trust that one he became rude and refused ot help and when I asked to speak to his manager, he didnt allow it and then I called again many times trying to reach the manager of the call center but all the customer service reps were putting me on hold for long times and going to Dominique and none of them would transfer me to the call center manager and I was getting to many conflicting information and lies. I felt like I was dealing with a gang...
I hope the call center manager/owner of Service market would read this review and would make the appropriate changes and hopefully the right thing by customers.
It is clearly obvious that Service Market is definitely not the same it was before and there is ZERO focus on service and on customers now and if there were ZERO starts or BELOW ZERO starts then that's realy what this company deserves in my review and it is clear many customers are unhappy!

I had taken pest control service from them. It was poorly done and the cockroaches were always there even after the service. They promised to revisit within a month if there are cockroaches. When i called them to come back and re-do the pest cleaning, they can't come on my timings. Their reason is that they don't do follow up services on weekends. So i am asked to take a day off for them to visit on their convenience which i can't due to the nature of my work.
Now I am forced to hire some other company for pest cleaning and that too within a month of taking the service from Service Market.

I would like to share with you my experience with servicemarket.com.
I was planning to attend a wedding party of my friends on a yacht and booked nanny service to supervise my 2 month daughter during my absence at home. While checking reviews and price range I decided to book via servicemarket.com considering they are very big and professional company . While driving in Sheikh Zayed road you can see big banners with their advertisements.
I booked 5 hours nanny service today from 3-8 pm , in a short time I received an email confirmation that all is scheduled and member will arrive in a slot time 3-3:30 pm .
I cannot express my feeling as at 3:30 pm nobody came and not even called to follow up. I called customer service line ( it was so difficult to reach them first of all , then when I reached the agent , lady said she will check with the provider and will get back to me . No one called back again . I had to stay on the line almost half an hour till 4:30 pm to stress myself and trying to get an honest update if nanny is coming or not . The explanation I received was “ traffic” . Common , we all know traffic situation in Dubai and planning our appointments accordingly + from 3-5 pm normally in JVC area no traffic at all . In total I called them 4 times and representative was extending the time of nanny stack in traffic 4 times by 15 minutes each call. In addition I received a very poor advise from customer service agent to reschedule this service to another time . Seriously , another time I will make sure to use better service with different provider. For me it is totally unacceptable service as I missed the opportunity to attend a special day of my friends , stressed myself , my baby , my friends who came to pick me up and been waiting in a parking area during all this time. Financially also I lost as I prepares myself in advance for this event . For the request to speak to the manager , I revived an answer that they are attending another calls , means a lot of complains . In the end I received an email with a complain tracking number in 1 day. No need to contact me in 1 day as you already spoiled my day and entire memories for this day .

I was charged for a service that didnt happen. Nobody showed up, and the charge went through. Its now 2 weeks and 6 calls later, and the customer service is trying to convince me that the service did happen! Am awaiting a management call then reporting fraud to the police. Horrible pathetic customer service. Thus far, a complete scam. No accountability for 3rd party negligence or quality of work. Update: customer service manager asking for CCTV to proove that no one came, and is not willing to refund!!! I am absolutely amazed. Professional scam. They also do not have a vetting mechanism in place to know that 3rd parties are completing the job. None.

Absolutely pathetic pathetic kind of behaviour towards customer. They don't care about their employees as well as customers. I had a sick sneezing coughing girl for cleaning at my home when my baby was recently born. Had to send her back . Second incident they sent an African who stole my husband's credit card and accessories from toilet. Then the cleaning service they assigned time for they changed it without informing me and when asked they stopped answering calls and messages. Pathetic behaviour towards customers

I contacted service market for moving
I contacted service market for moving. A team was highly recommended to me by a sales assistant. This was on the 15th of June 2023. It is now the 6th of September 2023 and the move is still not completed. Furthermore, they damaged and broke many of my personal items. Glass table broken, floor lamp broken, fancy glass bowl on metal pedestal broken into pieces. No one responds to my messages and the guys from the moving company does not take the calls. An exceptionally frustrating and infuriating experience!

Did a booking for handyman service for 4pm and no one turns up. After multiple messages to them the keep telling me team will be there in 10mins. 50mins later they say the team is not available.

They provide nail technicians with the lowest quality materials and the poorest polishes. I am the victim of this materials.
Right after applying finishing top polish, my color polish became melting right on my nails. And even I supposed to have a French pedicure but the girl didn’t have material for it and colors ((((((
I informed them and we agreed the new timing to re done this horrible nails. But after it their team never showed up and the customer service didn’t inform about it.

Repair teams are not recommended
The teams they send are not tradesmen. They don't know how to fix a problem properly.
My first experience was lack of water in my villa due to an air blockage. After arriving 40 minutes late they poured water into the pump restoring water. Left after 8 minutes ( charged me for an hour) and refused to find the fault. This did not fix the cause of the problem. It broke again and again. They said I needed a new pump, I didn't. After using a professional plumber he identified the problem and sorted it.
My aircon was leaking due to corrosion of the drip tray, they arrived 90 minutes late and mis diagnosed the problem and covered it with tape . It now leaked in 3 places. After contacting ServiceMarket the team was supposed to come back, they never turned up after 2 appointments. The next team instead of replacing the drip tray, made one and tied up up with wire underneath the corroded one. Within 5 days my kitchen was flooded again. After complaining to ServiceMarket the team arrived 90 minutes late, said its just condensation. After a discussion they agreed to come back to rectify the fault with foam and silicone, which didn't work. They are trying to get water to run uphill. They came up with several ridiculous solutions that were inconvenient or implausible. I finally suggested raising one end of the tray so the water runs out. They did tidy up sort of this time but they left my tiled roof held up with an ice bucket. These people are not tradesmen they have the same skills as bad do it yourselfers. Over 1150 aed I paid for such poor service. Service market take along time to respond to emails and messages. Your best bet is to phone them, repeatedly.
All my house cleaning services with ServiceMarket have been good, can recommend for that, but I can't recommend their repair service as their contractors do not know what they are doing.
