I would highly recommend The Intern Group- I had the most incredible 6-week marketing internship in Japan with the help and guidance of the intern group. The trip was highly organised and made me feel that at any time, I was able to get help and direction. We were always doing excursions, meet-ups, cultural days and I have now made life-long friendships. I was able to connect well with the other interns and also the Intern Group staff. Alisha and Erika went above and beyond to make all of the interns feel looked after and special, I am so grateful and will be staying in touch with them both. My internship itself was also great, I was able to work in an innovative start-up company and support their marketing function through blog writing and publishing. I have had such a great time and would recommend anyone who has a passion for international business to take the leap and do it.

Choosing to do an internship in Madrid is one of the best decisions that I have made! I did a 6-week internship where I was given the opportunity to really immerse myself in the company and I even got invited to attend an exciting company event. I have not only gained key industry experience but I have experienced huge personal growth. There were lots of fun organised activities every week which allowed me to meet new friends and expand my network with people from around the world. I am so thankful to the Intern Group program team in Madrid as they supported me throughout the program. Madrid is an amazing city and I would definitely recommend the program to anyone wanting a new adventure!

The experience provided by The Intern Group was really meaningful since they conveyed a variety of programs for job interviews, great opportunities to meet with corporations, and several networking events. During the internship period, there were plenty of learnings I've gotten with the company and felt confident at myself based on my accomplishments.

This was a great experience socializing and having fun with individuals from different cultures across the world who are intellectual and intelligent.

I am on my second internship and my 4th month here in Madrid and I just love it, especially in the company I am working for both in Hydraspace and now in Delonia software, the people are very nice and eager to work together and collaborate. But one of the best thing is to make friends for life and improve your life and connection.

TIG is a great program, other than having been matched to the perfect opportunity for me, I felt extremely supported by the staff. I took part in the Madrid program and was extremely pleased with it. The application process is very complete and easy to follow and TIG is always ready to help whenever. I would definitely do it again! 100% recommend it to anyone who is looking for a short or long term internship.

The Intern Group team was able to organize a fantastic program to work abroad and gave me all the support needed to find a job, obtain a visa, have a strategic location, and feel part of a group.

The company and its advisors were very polite and helpful throughout my entire trip and the process leading up to my trip.

My program experience in Japan was amazing. The directors were there to help at every corner and the program set me up for success. It was an experience of a lifetime.

While interviewing and matching with the organisations, I did run across a few problems. The Intern Group, on the other hand, assisted me in resolving these problems and did the best they could to find an organisation that most closely matched my aims and study majors. The company where I interned was excellent as well. My majors are accounting and finance and I want to be a financial advisor. Even when my main responsibility in the organisation during the internship period was to conduct market research analysis, I also found it very helpful for my future career. My supervisor was really helpful and gave me a lot of advise and knowledge that I never learned in university. I had opportunities to research and presented my ideas to my supervisor, which increased my research and communication skills. Thanks to the guidance and training provided by my supervisor, I was able to develop my soft skills, which included infographics and presentation abilities. Overall, this was a great opportunity to learn new things and experience new role.

The program itself gave me an opportunity to meet other interns (and locals) of different cultures and outlooks, which made my experience all the more enriching!

My internship was a milestone. It gave me confidence in my skills and I was encouraged to communicate. I was assigned at a smaller company so the working environment was fun as it felt more intimate.

Overall, this was a memorable time!

The admissions process went smoothly. The admissions consultant provided prompt feedback to all my questions and I was notified within a couple of days that my application was approved.

I had an incredible experience in Medellín, Colombia. The Intern Group provided the right amount of support while still giving me plenty of freedom. Our coordinator María was great.

I had a fantastic time in Bangkok. Fantastic workmates and colleagues. Special thanks to Jinnie for supporting us the whole way through and making our transition to Bangkok seamless!

Had a really great time in Tokyo. Erika in particular was awesome. Super friendly, really helpful with any questions I had, places to eat, how to get places etc. Great times meeting new people and making new friends.

I loved my experience with The Intern Group! From the beginning, the variety of teams I communicated with at each stage of the process (application, field placement, visa, etc) were very responsive and helpful. My only critique is that I would’ve appreciated being able to interview at multiple sites and then choose which felt like the best fit. I enjoyed the placement I chose, but felt like I didn’t have much choice.
My experience in Melbourne was amazing! My Intern Coordinator was lovely and so welcoming upon arrival. I would’ve enjoyed having a few more scheduled activities throughout the program, but overall the fact that most of the interns stayed in the same accommodation helped us foster community.

I just finished a 2 month internship in Bangkok and it was absolutely amazing. The apartment was very nice and conveniently located near public transportation, I made so many amazing new friends, and I learned so much at my internship abs was able to really integrate myself into the Thai culture and way of living. I also thoroughly enjoyed the weekend excursions (my favorite was the cooking class!) and I was able to take some time to travel and explore Thailand. Jinnie, the program coordinator was extremely kind, helpful, and easy to communicate with. She organized weekly meetups and made sure everyone really felt comfortable in the program and in Bangkok. Overall, I would recommend the experience to anyone that is willing to pay extra for the security that the program offers (visa coordination, housing with other interns, connection to an internship, etc.) as it did make living in a foreign country a much less daunting experience!

I just finished a 6-week internship in Tokyo and it was the best experience I could have for a summer. My data science internship went great, I learned tons of new stuff. The TIG group had some awesome cultural experiences, like a trip to Mt. Fuji, japanese-style activities, meetups at restaurants, etc. I 100% recommend doing a program. I obviously recommend the Tokyo program where I had a very enjoyable time with the Tokyo team (Thanks to Erika and Alisha).

My recommendation is to thoughtfully and carefully choose the destination and intensity of your internship. Its up to you to determine how flexible you want your time to be throughout this experience. Please, give it a shot!
