I have been dealing with this company for over 15 years. They are always efficient and diligent.

An overly complex process with steps not clearly explained. Most staff were empathetic but one was rude.

I have shares held in an Utmost account which previously they were able to transfer out to another broker. I am closing the account due to very poor service, lengthy delays in processing withdrawal requests and undue and tedious KYC requests. They have infomred me my shares cant be withdrawn, transferred or deposited and my only choice is to waive them ( ie give them to utmost for free). This is an exampel of why I am closing the account. Strongly recommend you never use them. They are so large they dont care about you and make it as difficult as possibel for you to access your own money, as humanly possible. Having said that their trading platform is generally quite usable via the website and I give them that!

Further more they havent sent me the balance money in my account. Whilst they have a problem transferring my shares, they could pay me back my money but it just sits there for weeks not moving while not providing any useful solution for my shares ( which trade on OTC)

I received an acknowledgment very quickly to my follow up email requesting that my previous email had been received.

The App is very good but a bit complicated to understand what it is telling me. I feel it would be useful to have some key details dependent on whet you are doing. For example I recently did two transfers where details such as Utmost have accepted the data to allow the withdrawal, that Utmost are going to withdraw the funds, the funds have been transferred the funds etc. Fortunately the Customer service provides an excellent service to provide this data, but sometimes they have been given the data with incorrect dates.

Response slow. Take longer time to refund, already 3 weeks but cannot tell how long my money will return to me. Ask many irrelevant questions to delay the process.

As a business provider of business for Utmost and legacy clients from companies they have merged with it has become obvious they are not helping clients. They are enriching the new entity through withholding remuneration to affiliates. Corporate profits override long term relationships. Higher fees to clients and not paying affiliates is the new model. Best to avoid at all costs.

Excellent Customer Service And Fast Response Time. I reported a computer error 27 August relating to a valuation required and it was repaired within one day 28 August probably. I requested the 2 missing valuations on 1 September at 17.43pm and received these valuations in reply on 2 September by 11.24am on the next day.

The bureaucracy is outrageous and oversized. It feels that you take all opportunity to slow down the process and make it difficult. I wish you would as slow to cask in your exaggerated fees. I am in the process of liquidating all investments at UtMost.

I had occasion to speak to Emily Hughes in the customer support team this morning regarding two offshore bonds held in trust. Emily was incredibly helpful knowledgeable and a pleasure to deal with and followed up our conversation with a clear email to confirm our conversation.
