Utmost erroneously applied a charge to my account of £3,000 GBP. I asked them to resolve and despite being patient they still have not sorted this issue. I have found their customer service department to be utterly useless. As a result, I have closed my account which was significant and withdrawn all funds. They do not deserve my custom. In my view, Utmost is a terrible company, so beware if you invest your hard earned with them!
Next step for me is the official financial ombudsman. Let's see if they have more success....

I mailed late yesterday asking for a statement on my bond and it arrived by email before 10 am this morning.

There´s a new Comm Type on the weeks commission spreadsheet "COMRELEASED".
Could you pls leave this out of spreadsheet.
This makes it difficult for our IT-department to import data into our CRM.

I have completely lost trust in this company. After opening a mandated pension account 25 years ago, with their predecessor, Royal Skandia, I thought I was being sensible and making a good decision. 25 years later I would not advise ANYONE to place their money with Utmost. They never fail to inform you quickly if a payment method expires, but when you are trying to change the name on your account due to marriage, or access your money on maturity of the pension, the list of requests feels endless! You filled in the form, but didn’t sign in wet ink, so you need to resubmit weeks later. You need to provide information on the lawyer who you paid to certify documents, or engage another to repeat the work. I now need to attend another security call, having just attended one 9 months ago to verify much of the same information that was verified last year. While I understand the need for check, the process should be clearly outlined from the beginning. You can wait weeks for an email response, have to follow up multiple times, or it can be very quick. You just never know. They are unprofessional. Stay away. Better to manage your own money on your own terms, and have access when you want it. You are paying significant fees for a service that needs significant improvement.

The Utmost International representative, Alex was clear and helpful. He made useful suggestions about how to provide the information required and gave me another more relevant form. He really was a great help and was very approachable.

Sherriden provided excellent service and handled our request very promptly. She highlighted that surrenders will be free of charge after maturity, allowing us to make an informed decision on whether to proceed now or wait a few days. Very efficient and helpful service.

The Customer Service are wonderful, everything self is very average and i would not recommend using them

Requested some info on existing funds, which, while not crucially urgent, were dealt with very quickly and professionally by Sandra D in the client services team. Follow up queries equally speedliy addressed. Great customer service which is important when investments are involved.

Emily spent considerable time with me on two occasions helping me to change my password, download the Authenticator app and gain access to the Utmost platform. She was patient, good humoured and made me feel that it really mattered. Calling a customer services number these days can be a long, frustrating and lonely experience, but Emily gave me hope for the future!

My call with Julie was excellent. She knows her stuff and was able to direct me quickly with articulate and correct direction. She was really helpful and quick to provide me with the info she said she'd get to me after the call. This helped me move my case along with confidence which is what you need when speaking to a provider.

Everything! This company's administration and time to provide service is shocking and certainly the worst I have come across in my more than 35 years in financial services.

I was having significant issues downloading historical valuations for a client who needed these for tax reasons. Edel from the PPB team tried to explain the process via email. But there was still not any EXPORT tab. To solve the problem Edel downloaded the historical valuations for me and solved the issue. Thank you.
