I do not recommend this company. I spent $500 ordering a duvet cover, matching pillow cases and a bed blanket. The duvet cover and pillowcases were pictured and described as this beautiful coral (orange/peach) color floral block print. I was so disappointed when they arrived because they are brown. No different interpretation could be made, but a brown floral block print on a mostly cream background. and the block print is not nearly as nice looking as it is depicted either. I didn't even open the package. Returning things is incredibly difficult for me being disabled and in a rural area. What a hassle! But what really got me... I wrote a review of the item on their site and it is so buried, I can't even find it. Their onsite reviews are configured in a way that only highlights positive reviews. You cannot even sort it to show by most recent. That is not a company that stands by the quality of their products. Not only can I not trust I will receive an item that resembles what I think I am buying, but I cannot trust the company to be upfront about what people are saying about their products. And from reading reviews on this site... looks like I will be charged a re-stocking fee for returning the item. They certainly didn't tell me that when I was requesting a return shipping label.

I discovered that Brooklinen shows different prices depending on whether you're logged in or not. I saw a sheet set listed at $106 as a guest (with the 15% first-order discount auto-applied), but when I logged into my account (and hadn’t purchased before), the same item showed up at $125 — and the 15% discount had to be manually applied, if you even realize that.

So while they technically offer the discount, it's only effective if you catch the higher price and reapply the code yourself. Otherwise, you just overpay.

I reported this to the FTC because this kind of price manipulation is misleading. If you're shopping here, make sure to check incognito and compare prices before buying. Loyal or logged-in users shouldn’t be punished with higher prices.

I ordered the Core Percale set for my mother’s birthday. Brooklinen sent the wrong set. My mother reached out to try to swap the sheets. Brooklinen made everything my problem. We had to ship them back (they did give us a label) and wait for Brooklinen to receive them, which took about a week. Then I got an email that they needed four days to process the returned item and I would receive a refund, minus a $10.00 restocking fee. Four days later I got another email stating that my refund was processing and that it could take 3-5 days for me to see the money in my account. I finally got the money back, again, minus a $10.00 restocking fee. We had been given a discount code to replace the sheets, that we ordered correctly the first time on sale, with the same sheets we ordered. Now they weren’t on sale, but not to worry, we would have a discount code to get the price back to the sale price. Unfortunately, the return shipping and refund process took so long that the code expired. We had to call to get a new code and to have the $10.00 restocking fee credited to the order. All told, my mother’s gift that I ordered correctly took three weeks and three phone calls to get right. She likes the sheets. I will never order from Brooklinen again. Horrible customer service and a terrible response to their mistake.

I have only ever had positive experiences with brooklinen and love their linen sheets. I bought one for my original queen bed then bought ones for my king bed and also got some as gifts. Highly recommend, great customer service!

Worst linen sheets. Ever. If you like sleeping on sandpaper, look no further. CS was attentive, but not the outcome I hoped for . I missed the deadline to rerun by 2 months. I found them in the linen closet after storing them upon disastrously purchasing. They offered me a 25% discount. Sure... just what I want. More sandpaper !

Please refrain from sharing your contact information with them; even the chat option on the Brooklinen website requires your email address. They are not accredited by the Better Business Bureau (BBB) and have a "D minus" rating. Additionally, there is no reliable way to contact them; even the chat option on the Brooklinen website requires your email. It's best to do business with firms that prioritize good business practices instead.

For "luxury" sheets the quality is crap. I had my first set of sheets rip which they then replaced since they were in the exchange window. The replacement sheets then also ripped in less than a year. But they only exchange based on the ORIGINAL purchase date.. So they know their sheets are crap and probably assume most people get 1 exchange during this time period.. For what I paid and having two sets of sheets last less than 2.5 years combined seems crazy to me. Would never purchase again and I reccomend you do not either.

Horribly cheap sheets! and I must pay a return fee. So thin it's like rice paper. Ridiculous!

Brooklinen does not believe in customer service. I will tell my story, but the bottom line is the worst customer service I have ever received. Ever!!!

I ordered some towels for my wife on sale. When we received them, she did not like the color, so I wanted to exchange them. That's where the trouble started, as the website does not permit exchanges. Ughhhh.

I used the chat to contact customer service. They informed me that I had to return the first order and reorder again. It was a pain, but it was okay.
When I went to reorder, the price was higher.
I contacted customer service again on chat. They told me to use a coupon code.
I did and it was not accepted. Plus, I was charged $9.99 on the return.
Again, I contacted chat customer service, and they told me to place my order and then call customer service to have them rebate the $9.99 plus the difference in price.
I then called customer service. They are in a foreign country and hard to understand. They refunded my $9.99 but they would not match the price, as they told me the other color was more expensive. OMG! Although I told them about the several chat exchanges, they told me there was nothing they could do.
Of course, I asked for a supervisor. Haha. After waiting for days, I finally sent an email. They responded with the same stock answer. They would not honor what their own chat reps promised.
Plus, this is the only company I ever dealt with that does not record their chat and offer a copy to the customer.
I was told that I should have taken a screenshot. Really???????
As you can tell, this took weeks of back and forth, only to be very disappointed.
It is unbelievable that they turned a happy customer into a very, very unhappy customer over an even exchange.
Never, never order from Brooklinen.

I really splurged for what I was expecting to be a wonderfully luxurious down alternative comforter. I ordered the extra warm comforter was astounded how thin and cheep it was. It looks nothing like the photos and I would not have paid $30 for it.

The sheets I ordered from Brooklinen are poor quality and now have several holes in them. So much for splurging on "nicer" sheets -- the Target and Bed Bath & Beyond sheets I rotate them with have lasted for years without holes. Will never order anything else from Brooklinen because of poor quality.

Impressed by their return policy! They allow for 365 returns and are OK with you washing your sheets as many times as you'd like. In fact, any washed materials go to donations, no questions asked. The cost of ~ $10 to return is well worth being able to experience their sheets for a while.

We bought both the percale and lux sateen and kept the latter. We also bought the down duvet, which felt great, but decided to return it in favor of another.

Extremely impressed by their returns policy and I will certainly be buying more stuff from them because of it.

I bought a comforter from them that within a year was two thin sheets of fabric and edges full of stuffing. I sent them an email with a photo and they were actually nice enough to send a replacement. I hoped it was just bad luck with a bad comforter but within a year, same thing to the next one. I am also quite kind to my comforters. Gentle wash, hang dry, etc. The stitching is garbage and I wouldn’t buy again.

I really surprised by all the bad reviews. I splurged on brooklinen and got their luxe sheets and was blown away by the quality. I feel like they are super soft and premium feeling.

I also got the percale after to try it out and I didn’t like it at first but then washed them and they got softer. It’s a crispier sheet which I like to just switch it up. Will prob stay away from percale in the future because my cats like to scratch holes in them and they rip easier than a luxe sheet.

I also wanted to try linen sheets finally and I don’t really like the feeling comparatively but my husband loves them because he is a super hot sleeper and doesn’t sweat with these sheets.

But all in all I felt like they are very expensive sheets and an investment but the quality holds up in my opinion whereas my “luxe” Amazon hotel sheets would need to be replaced every couple of months

Best experience ever!

First night with a new set of Lux Sateen Core Sheet Set. Full size, cream. Highly disappointed in the quality. The material is very thin and bodyless. Though the fitted sheet was large enough to fit our 14" mattress, the pillow cases were small. Elastic is cheap and weak. This sheet set is comparable to a $40.00 set I bought at Walmart.

I am a returning customer and I have placed two orders that have been cancelled because their system couldn’t verify my payment method. I have ordered before. I ordered other items on different sites on the same day with no issues. I spent time on chat and on a phone call with no resolve. I will buy my towels somewhere else. They don’t care!

Paid over $70 for a fitted sheet -- unhappy with color, and then I find out it costs $9.95 to return it. Buyer beware -- just buy your sheets at a company that offers free returns, or Amazon.

I am incredibly surprised by the negative comments based on my experience with Brooklinen, which has been multiple times. I have ordered percale sheet sets, extra pillow cases, duvet cover, towels, robe and even lotion from them. All experiences were positive, even when there was a weird issue with my first order. The resolved quickly and were incredibly communicative through the process. I know reviews are SUPER subjective, and folks have a tendency of only leaving reviews when they are frustrated about something. I will continue buying sheets in particular from Brooklinen, as I love the light weight feel (my husband and I are HOT sleepers) that other companies have not been able to provide. Their prices can be a smidge steep, but watch their sales.
