charged me extra for expedited shipping and it came super late

I made the mistake of ordering a "super plush bathrobe" based on some internet reviews and was very excited to receive my purchase which arrived very quickly. This thing felt like you were wearing a one of those lead vests they lay on top of you at the dentist for xrays...all over. The sleeves were fully six inches longer than the tip of my fingers. No way to even roll them up. I think they're selling defective products to tell you the truth...No woman or man for that matter has arms THAT long. It's just unwearable. But I'm just going to eat the $100 and consider it a lesson learned. I don't want to fool with this scam of a company. You can't even read the reviews on their website. I was considering swapping it for something else but there is no reason to think that any of their overpriced products are any better. I just prefer to sever any relationship at this point.

Pure garbage! trash product, you order a duvet and no shams come with nor do they let you know. They charge you to return product. DO NOT BUY FROM THESE GUYS!. slick marketing crap quality and the charge makes you just want to keep it!

I am utterly disappointed to recount my experience with Brooklinen, which has been nothing short of a colossal debacle spanning over ten months. In April 2023, I placed an order with high hopes after being recommended by an Instagram influencer. Little did I know this would be the beginning of a frustrating saga.
The ordeal commenced with not one, but two failed deliveries by the carrier. I notified the carrier and opened a case. I diligently provided the carrier evidence during their investigation, including photos of my home and surroundings. Unable to locate my package, the carrier closed the case, urging me to seek resolution from Brooklinen. I emailed Brookline Customer Service with the details of the situation.
What followed was a series of unfruitful exchanges with Brooklinen's customer service team, characterized by generic responses that seemed to be generated by an AI rather than a human. Despite my escalating frustration and repeated requests to escalate the matter to a supervisor or manager, the issue remained unresolved.
The situation took a backseat when I faced an emergent health crisis, pushing the Brooklinen debacle out of focus. However, even during this time, Brooklinen made no attempt to reach out and rectify the situation. It was as if my money and products had vanished into thin air, with no concern from their end.
Fast forward eight months, and I finally found myself in a position to address the unfinished business with Brooklinen. Yet again, my attempts to communicate were met with seemingly automated responses until I demanded to speak with a manager. Only then did I receive assurance that my funds would be refunded.
This entire experience has left me deeply disappointed and dissatisfied. What could have been a pleasant introduction to Brooklinen's products turned into a nightmare of customer service failures. As a result, I cannot in good conscience recommend Brooklinen to anyone. Instead, I have found solace in Cozy Earth, a brand that not only delivered exceptional products but also provided unparalleled customer service.
In summary, Brooklinen's operation receives a resounding "F-" from me. It's a failure on all fronts, and I urge others to steer clear to avoid similar disappointments.

Fell for the constant social media ad onslaught. Slick marketing, but alas they did not live up to expectations. Low quality and percale was itchy?? Never had that! They are letting me return them, even though I washed and slept on them, so I am glad for that, even though there is a $9.95 charge. I’m happy to pay that to get rid of these. I do like the Marlow pillow I got from now and I’m keeping that. I have a hard time finding pillows that I like. As for the sheets, you are better off hitting Macy’s for some 400-800 thread count sheets on their big sales. They may not have as many colors or slick marketing, but they’re soft as heck and hold up. To replace the brooklinen (I had to because I just downsized to a queen), I just purchased West Elm organic 400 thread count sateen and man oh man those are soooo soft too!

I know most people come here bc they had a bad experience, so I wanted to share my positive one! My new (expensive) pillow was left by UPS in the rain outside my house (there's a covered porch). The pillow was utterly ruined. Waterlogged, mildew, and starting to mold. I sent pictures to Brooklinen and they issued a replacement immediately. Great customer service, fast response, very pleased. Utterly different than the disastrous customer service experience I had with NewBalance recently (avoid them like the plague), and a pleasant reminder that not all companies are awful to deal with. I'll be back.

Ordered a sheet set at their Black Friday sale. They cancelled my order saying it was a fraudulent credit card. I called customer service and all the information was correct. Card number, billing address etc. They would not give me any information as to why it was cancelled and I was told that it had to go through to a team and they would decide to reinstate the order. No thank you. I will buy my linens somewhere else.

I have never bought anything from this company, yet they somehow got hold of my name and address and started sending me a lot (a lot!) of catalog spam in the mail. I never consented to this, much less asked for it or opted in. They have no way to opt out quickly on their website, so after spending several minutes getting nowhere, I ended up having to write an email. I then had to write another email with more details, and then finally got a confirmation they'd take me off their list. No apology though. I don't understand how without my consent, they think it's OK to fill up my mailbox with garbage, and create extra work I never agreed to, now having to sort through the added trash to find the mail I actually want. Stay away. I hope they go out of business.

The absolute worst customer service I have ever experienced. Stay away, unless you’re ready for a hassle.

Brooklinen is a marketing company that happens to push low quality sheets and towels. My wife bought into the marketing and had everyone in our family give her Brooklinen gift cards last Christmas so she'd have enough to buy a sheet set. We got the sheet set, and they were horribly uncomfortable. We washed them a few times to see if they'd get better. They didn't, they sucked. And BTW, should you really have to "break in" a set of sheets?! We gave up after a month and sent them back. Except now we had this credit with the company... so she thought she'd get some new towels. We got hand towels, bath towels, etc. The towels aren't absorbant at all, its like trying to dry your body with a handful of printer paper. Then we washed them... in just ONE WASH, the ends got all bunched up and the whole towel was misshapen- no longer a rectangle. She also got a sweatshirt with the leftover credit. There is nothing special about it, it's literally just a sweatshirt you could get for 25% of the price from walmart. So, if you're reading this: buy sheets from somewhere else. We sent ours back and got some from Target that are way cheaper and way more comfortable. Buy towels from somewhere else- these ones suck. And finally, buy sweatshirts from somewhere else. Don't get sucked in by the marketing and hype, their products are overpriced garbage!

I am sad to have to return our sheets. We love the fabric and the feel and how light and cool they are. The problem is that they are not deep enough for our mattress and ride up and bunch up. If you ever start making 17” deep sheets, let me know and we will be back in a flash!!!

I just bought two sets of towels and find them to be very poor quality. They are fraying around the edges, feel coarse, and there are pulls in the cotton. They do not wash well. I too find customer service difficult to deal with. I do not recommend and it will be my last purchase with them. I will have to replace the towels within the first six months.

Honestly I'm very shocked to see such low ratings. I have bought a set of linen sheets, a duvet, and a duvet cover that is also linen. The quality is unmatched (I'm sort-of new to the linen sheets game). I accidently ordered 2 Duvet covers that were last call and emailed customer support immediately. They were SOO helpful and let me return the one I didn't want. Anytime I had a question I got a helpful response in less than 24hrs. This is a company that will work with you, but they don't read minds, and I think that's where a lot of people fall off. I have turned my Mom onto them as well. I trust this company. They are not the cheapest, but you get what you pay for ;).

Prices changed before I could check out. I added two face masks to my cart at $18 each then went to look at the robes. Within 5 minutes the website emptied my cart and the price went up to $21. Very sketchy.

An awful company that does not honor the return policy stated on its website. They refused to process a return of an unopened, unused sheet set because it was labeled "final call." Final call does not mean final sale. Nowhere on the product page or return policy did it say this item was not returnable. Apparently, it is buried in their FAQs. Rubbish. I had to open a dispute with my credit card company. Though I was successful, it was still a hassle.

Do not buy from this company, the towels are ok but the constant barrage of emails can not be stopped. Even if you unsubscribe or block. Not worth it

I think the company makes a nice product, especially considering the price point. I have accumulated quite a bit of their stuff over the last 4 years and my linens have held up nicely (mostly percale but I do have some linen that was on the thinner side but I have had it for 2.5 years and it is still quite nice). The comforters are wonderful. I DID have one set of sheets rip a couple of years ago, but they replaced them for me right away. The only 'complaint' I can really manage is that it seems they can take a while to ship, but that's not a huge deal, just a minor inconvenience.

Bad Product and really bad customer service. I tried to return the product but they said something about final sale, which was not mentioned during the purchase. Unethical company.

I added several items to my cart and the next week heard they were having a 25% off sale, but when I went to re-add the items, they were almost $80 more than the non-sale price! Hard no and seems like a scam.

I ordered towels and washcloths on March 9.
The towels: I received the towels promptly. They seemed nice, but after two washes, they are unraveling at the borders!
The washcloths: The washcloths were supposedly on backorder and would ship on March 14. On April 5, I contacted the company after not having received the washcloths and not having received any communication about them. They were "very sorry ... there had been an additional delay" and offered 20% off a future purchase. (Oh, please.... Why not give me a discount on the purchase I waited two months for!?) When I finally received the washcloths today, April 18, I was amazed to see the poor quality--all the borders (12 washcloths!) were ragged. Immediately returned them.
Company's website says they are now charging for returns as well!! I have ordered from Brooklinen many times in the past two years, but no more.
