Research pays off
I did a lot of research in Cheltenham before hiring a car. It paid off. GBV Rentals are the best car rental business I have used in a long time. They went out of their way to ensure I got the exact car I wanted: (luggage capacity was paramount). Excellent vehicle. Competitive price. Friendly efficient service. This sounds like an advert but it's true. Thank you Mark and Tony. I'll be back.

Poor Website and equally poor customer service
The car I booked turned out to be not available although online it continued to appear available. Guys in the branch courteous enough to call and inform about availability but hurried where they didn’t explain what rate will be applied to my future booking since I asked them to transfer it. Previously when I called to understand the car options I found the person on the phone sounding irritated to answer properly. Overall poor website and poor customer service. Hope they improve since they have really good car options.

No car available
I ordered a car online to be informed when I arrived at the branch there were no cars available. I was offered another car from another branch however was informed I would need to pay an extra £90 on top. When I asked why given the mistake was not mine, I was told there would be no waver of any fee….
Disappointing, and I’m still waiting for my refund
