They are only in it for money, will change codes to charge you more and then deny it and ignore you. Avoid at all costs, literally, as they bankrupt you on purpose. They are not to be trusted in anyway, if they lie to your face and gaslight you, imagine what they are doing behind the scenes.

Terrible scam medical "service". There will be a class action lawsuit soon. Everything from deceitful billing practices, to providing misinformation for financial gain by ordering unnecessary Zoom calls and laboratory work. Their staff has zero communication skills and they lack any structure within. They will lie just to get you to set up a Zoom call knowing they can't provide certain services via Zoom. They 100% knew my only intent for needing a doctor was to refill a perscription which is a controlled substance. After about 10 phone calls and given the run around they convinced me that I could get my perscription via a Zoom call. During the zoom call the doctor informed that I would have to come in in person yet I live 3 hours away from the closest office. I got upset and they tried making every excuse in the book. The argument continued and then a PA Jeremy Jones decided to terminate the relationship and banned me from recieving care. The medication they denied me has severe side effects which I explained. They offered me another Zoom call with a different doctor knowing that once again, a Zoom call would be useless but that they could charge me for it. When I demanded to know if I took this second Zoom call if they could get me the perscription their response was "we don't know, you have to schedule a Zoom call to find out" They are a scam and need investigated. Do not sign up not only are they a scam but they are rude, condescending and have no clue how to run a medical services company.
Cannot believe that they are aloud to operate in this country. Total scumbags all around.

I have a problem with this company. I paid $9 with prime for the membership which includes free video chat and “treat me now” options. Now I’ve tried to use it twice with two completely different conditions, even in compliance with the treat me now conditions listed. Everytime I’ve gotten the same generic answer, schedule a visit at a location or schedule a visit online through virtual care. This is so they can charge your insurance a huge amount of money. They refuse to help or treat you through the treat me now option. Just a money grab and selfish way to entice people to sign up monthly for the membership.

I’m nearly 75 and on Medicare. Before Amazon purchased my doctor’s office (IORA), I loved my doctor and the staff. Since Amazon took it over, I’ve been shocked and distressed by the lack of competence and efficiency. From January (2024) til now October 23, there have been 3 different doctors and 3completely different staff groups. Another issue I have is that you cannot directly call the office. They waste your time with some damn service where you are questioned and then hope to get a message back from the anctual office. It’s very inefficient and this service tells the office, then the office tells the doctor if there is even a doctor there (no joke). The latest issue is when I called for a blood test for my A1C and other tests for liver, kidneys,etc and to see the doctor, they had me come in and never tested my A1C- a blood test every 3 months for diabetes. I’m insulin dependent and been diabetic for decades. I was told the doctor (whom I’ve yet to meet) didn’t order the test. The way I found out that they hadn’t tested for my A1C is I had to call the damn service to ask them to call the office for me. They never called me. Then…. I called again 3 days later and the office called me back. The person from the office told me my A1C was 1.4! If you’re diabetic, you know that’s insane. I had to tell her that number would probably mean I’m dead. I tell you this to explain how untrained the office people are. I don’t think I can switch providers (because of Medicare) till the beginning of 2025. I don’t recall being told the company was being taken over by Amazon. I feel VERY MUCH SCAMMED AND ROBBED.

They are no good. Went there shortly after masks were optional. The Doctors are fake and need the R after Dr. changed to oa to read as DOA. Crap fools got my DL suspended. Then after about two years, I went to renew my DL and found I could not as I had been unknowingly driving with suspended DL for a year and half, or more. Deadly force them. What it will take to shutter one medical forever. They used an online tele-Dr. If a Dr. at all. Total scammers. They sent a few e`mails since. Like they do not know jack. My reply: um, you are guilty of malpractice and guilty of tort. your doors need to be shuttered as none there fixes anyone for the better. you only break what is wrong and make it hurt more. your one medical is no good. you need to be taken down. Amazona freaks. As of today, I say quit shopping Amazon. Their crooks also. Trust Pilot, your calendar is broken!

No follow through

There was a staff reduction done by the "bean counters" a while back and this has cause a big drop in service and a shortage of professional staff. I've been on hold for over 11minutes, trying to contact my medical team!
The headquarters of One Medical should be ashamed of their conduct!

Been using them for years and the best part is that I was able to get a last-minute appointment on a SATURDAY when I realized I needed a medication renewal. Where else would you be able to get that?!

Sinus infection that I get every year for 40 years and day 8 I know I need an antibiotic. Well they insist they know my body better and said it’s viral and to do nothing. Wasted 29$. This is just a money grab. Stay away.

I have a sinus infection. I get one every year, I know the symptoms. I am a nurse, so I have medical knowledge. I did a message visit today, I was prescribed clarinex. If I thought clarinex would fix my problem, I would not have spent $29 and wasted my time with amazon. Then I had to waste time getting my money back, and now I have to be miserable for an extra day. Never again!

Before Amazon bought One Medical I could not have been happier with the medical care I was receiving from them.
I began with One Medical in an effort to escape the big business/profit focused approach of Atrium and Novant - 2 Charlotte area medical monopolies with blanket policies applied to every patient regardless of needs. My PCP at One Medical is the very best MD I've ever had. She saw me as an indidual person and her approach to treatment reflected that. Now Amazon has restricted her ability to provide optimal care. Having my health managed by Amazon!? I thought at first it was a joke but, it's quite serious in more than1 sense of the phrase. Your MD makes decisions which at times determine whether you live or die. I don't want Amazon involved in any part of that process.

Anyone who sees this, don’t dare use this stupid service, I set up an appoint at 6am and they sent me a message 20minutes later that I’m scheduled with Ryan Donahue , then they said Ryan is reviewing my paperwork, I waited till 12pm I called customer and support then they said let’s get hold of him blah and then they sent a message Ryan is waiting for me in the meeting room , I clicked on the link and got in the room to find a message saying Ryan left the meeting, and boom my meeting is canceled, I could have gone to the urgent care but spent over 6hrs waiting . Waiting for my refund blah, this is hands down the most frustrating experience I’ve ever had, use it at your own risk , it’s absolutely terrible at best.

I had a order for a CT of my brain and One Medical called me to informed me of having Alzheimers and offered a choice of 2 drugs.
I went to Barrows Neurological Institute to be tested.
After being tested for four hours and other tests that I DO NOT have Alzheimers as was diagnosed by One Medical.
Dr Johnson of Barrows said it was cruel to inform me, a patient of ONE MEDICAL of having Alzheimers by a phone call.
The date of the call was after July 24 which is the date of the CT. The call had to be a least 5+ days after the CT.

Billing me $187 instead of $49. Total scam. Don't get Amazon Health.

Booked a zoom appointment i need a recent mri for my whole spine so I can seem treatment through another provider three doctor didn't listen booked me for a test I've resolved some 10 years ago and an mri of only my lumbar.
Everything i deal with these"people" it's a complete travesty.

I'm trying to see a PCP which has honestly been my worst experience I've ever had trying to see a doctor. It all revolves around one medical which honestly is a complete and utter scam if you ask me. Basically if you want to respond to your doctor, upload information or update/change medical information in the "portal", you have to pay for it. Your doctor can literally send you a message, but you're SOL because you can't respond without paying for the subscription to one medical. I called one medical and gave them this feedback and it's "known" about this issue and patients displeasure around this. Be aware that if your doctor uses one medical, run for the hills and save yourself the headaches.

I will never use this service again. I had a 15 minute call with a doctor to get some prescriptions filled and my bill was $1,200. After insurance I still owed $575. What in the actual f%$#. Really? For a 15 minute call? Absolutely ridiculous.

So I canceled. But when you cancel, you lose the option to talk to any of the admin, or the doctor who you talked to. You have to spend money and sign back up, and I only had an option to pay $200 for an annual fee to sign up. I'm not about to spend $200 just so I can talk to the fu@#^! doctor, or admin.

Now I'm on the run-around and trying to get answers, but when you call billing, it just goes to some damn voice mail, who knows if anyone actually gets it.

I'm absolutely LIVID. I hate Amazon for so many reasons, this is just another reason.

When I first joined in 2017 One Medical was great and I loved my doctor. Since they were bought by Amazon I cannot get a response from anyone and their chat and phone customer service is completely worthless. I am going to leave and find a new concierge practice. So disappointed as it was just the perfect solution for healthcare for a busy woman professional with limited time.

Awful. I joined because I have a hard time getting into my dr. They are booked weeks out. This place just says Go to your dr? What’s the point??

Im sorry for everyone it didn’t work out for. I got a provider on telehealth visit for my pinched nerve and got medicine and a care plan for it. So if it’s a minor thing it works for that. <3 I appreciated the provider (a female doctor thank goodness) and how my wait time was less than one minute.
