You would think it would be relatively easy to ensure that instant coffee can be served to a customer.
Not with Jet2.
On my flight to Venice and the return flight no coffee was available.
They had Latte or Cappuccino in a packet but not simple plain instant coffee.

Jet2 car rental with goldcar and Rentalcars.com we booked a 9 seater vito or similar and paid deposit over a year ago we then paid balance at the agreed time and we were all set until we arrived in Gerona Airport to be told no vehicle only two cars luckily we had a second driver who fortunately had not had a drink, left with the dilemma and two small children we took the cars not happy.When we returned took this up with jet2 after a month were told it was our fault just be aware the vehicle you book could be anything they choose to give you and tuff.
Flights amazing car hire a disgrace
Flights amazing - car hire DONT DO IT! we hired a car and a day later I checked and it said cancelled - not by us. So I tried to re book - I did not receive a re book email so I rang to cancel and ask for nearly 400 pounds worth of refund. I’ve been passed from one person to another and have been given a grand total of £37 pounds back. I am genuinely disgusted as the service and will be taking this further.
Avoid Jet2 Car hire! Avoid Wiber!
We hired a car through Jet2 from Malaga airport. The car hire firm was "Wiber". I've hired cars for many years and this firm is the worst I've ever dealt with. They charged my credit card for the full ten day rental at the time of booking (which was fine). When I arrived at the car rental office, they explained that there were two options; either I could take "full risk" and pay no more (I have an annual car rental insurance policy, so I really don't see the problem), or I could py an additional EUR 160 and "everything will be covered". When I declined and took the first offer, the desk person became very agitated (presumably because he would lose commission). Don't be conned by these sharks! Jet2, please take note. We like your company because you seem to be honest. You shouldn't be selling us car hire from a very shady operator. I will not book car hire through Jet2 again. Be warned!
No customer service
A lower category vehicle was supplied. When you try to contact customer services about a partial refund online queries are acknowledged and then deleted, and the "customer service" phone line directs you to the website then cuts you off.
Jet 2 car hire rip-off
Booked car hire through jet 2 car hire.
At Europcar desk Paphos airport asked to pay additional driver, supposedly free in jet 2 booking.
Also had to pay for full insurance already paid for with jet 2.
Never had this problem with any other car hire companies.

Unhelpful, awful customer service!
On ringing to ask a generalised question to put our minds at rest about the car being dropped off at the hotel I was faced with a battle!
I was told to look at the FAQs
Nowhere on the FAQs does it state if we need to provide the hotel details or do Jet2holidays.
The email received of the reservation also does not cover this and nowhere on the booking have we put our hotel details!
We have now cancelled our booking
Jet2 special offer car hire scam.
Booked when I saw an offer during on line check in to hire a car from Palma airport for 8 days. Price £212. Plus I paid an extra £56 for full car insurance. When arriving at the Goldcar desk in the airport i was told I needed to pay Goldcar another €135 which included airport taxes. I also paid another €135 for fuel, to be refunded when i returned the car with a full tank. I cancelled our usual bus pick up to Puero de Pollenca to do this and wished I hadn't.
Jet 2 Info states you may decide to buy additional insurance cover "to reduce or remove your excess, or to cover things your collision damage waver (CDW) doesn't, such as tyres and windscreen?
I was not given any choice and was told I had to pay more.

On hiring a vehicle, customers are required to provide a holding deposit on collection of the vehicle and are subject to excess charges in the event of damage, The insurance taken at the time of booking covered you to drive whilst abroad.
I’d like to assure you Jet2.com, aim to be transparent and fair and ask customers to contact us before signing any additional forms to do with their package. After raising your concern with Goldcar, I found you signed a form agreeing to insurance Super Relax along with the taxes on the rental, once signed the document is then deemed as Legally binding Contract and we’re unable to assist further as the signature counts as an official agreement to this optional insurance service provided by the supplier.
Please be assured we taken this matter seriously and raised your concerns with the Rental Car Supplier. They’ve confirmed they’ve processed a refund of £51.79 for the insurance element taken out at the time of booking as a gesture of good will. I hope this shows we acknowledge the impact to you on this occasion.

Thankfully my credit card company saw things differently to Jet2 and gave me a full refund.
Took my deposit and now won’t honour my car booking price
I paid a deposit in 2021 to rent a car for August 2022. I received confirmation of my booking reference and that was it, there was no further communication. My booking reference allowed me to manage the car online and make amendments. It also showed the car (5+2 seat as I’m a family of 6) to be £729.40. Having still not heard anything about when to pay the full balance, I logged on in May 22 to pay it. I even added additional insurance and added my flight numbers (of which I had an email advising they’d updated the booking). I tried 3 times to pay the balance, although it initially accepted it online, the money was never taken and my booking reference with Jet2 kept showing the balance was due. I called Jet2 car hire (also known as Rental cars) to find out what was happening only to be told they stopped taking deposits ages ago and the car could not be hired to me for that amount. They now wanted £1700 to hire the same car! NEARLY £1000 more! There was absolutely no budging, just got told I should have paid the full balance at time of booking! If I knew that was the case I would have paid it there and then! This was not explained and was not apparent on the website!!! This was to be our first proper holiday as a family of 6 and our first driving holiday! Nothing was said to warn of this!!! Avoid this company! Absolute extortion! If they weren’t going to honour that price they should have contacted me immediately so I could have secured a better price with a different rental not the £1700 now being quoted! Absolute robbers!
Jet2carhire terrible customer service
I recently booked and paid for a hire online with Jet2carhire. After waiting for 3 days for a confirmation email with my car hire hire voucher, I called them to find out what the delay was. I was told that they couldn’t contact the rental company in Mallorca and thought that their office was shut. No apology no offer of an alternative rental car with a different company. When I asked if they could provide a similar car from another rental company they offered me one that was 65% dearer than the original rental price or a refund which would take 72hrs. Probably the worst experience I’ve had with an online car rental company in the last 20 years. My advice is do not rent with them!

First time I've flown with Jet2 and I was very impressed. The cabin staff were excellent - friendly and efficient - the pilot updated us about the flight more times than on other budget airlines and the organized disembarkation avoided the hussle and bustle that occurs on most flights. Cabin staff mainly got the luggage down from the lockers which reduced potential injuries.
The return flight from Madeira to Bristol was a joy for us (though not Jet2's accountants). The airline has only just started in Bristol so are not fully up to speed and our plane had only 70 passengers. We talked a lot to Lauren, one of the cabin crew, who was well informed and very enthusiastic about the company.

I'm so happy the simple, comfortable non reclining seats have more legroom than easyjet for the almost 4 hour time on the plane. Lovely friendly cabin staff and clean aircraft.
Bought a couple of watches from the gift trolly too, very helpful ladies.
All went on time.

Would have been our 2nd jet 2 holiday.
I was due to travel in December to Tenerife with my Fiancee. We originally booked for 6 day but then changed this to 7 days . There was a cost for adding extra night plus an extra £300 to amend the booking. Then came the covid which meant we had to change the holiday due to the new restrictions and so we decided to change our booking for later in 2022 this cost us another £300 .
then next day jet2 announced that any amendemnts made would now only cost £40.
So i called and asked if we could get any money back? Because of the new booking amendments .
We were told no as they had no as they have no control over timing poor response and quite nasty to.
We were then told by a rep on the phone that they thought the company wouldnt be around in 2022 so after hearing that and a restless night and with already losing £600 We then decided we would cancel the holiday in doing so we got charged another £300. So in total we have lost £900 to Jet2 which is a total rip off .
My brother has booked with TUI and he has had to make amendments and a lot better and fairer admin
but losing £900 which is almost a holiday for us for a week.
I will never use this airline again.
This would have being our 2nd holiday with Jet 2.
i would strongly advise others to think before they use them as any amendements are going to cost you dearly. 😡😡

READING JET2 Reviews. Confirms, that whilst the airport and flight staff are DOING THEIR BEST they are let down by Customer Service.. In fact the title is false. There is almost no customer service.

I really don’t know why anyone could write a bad review about Jet2, I just flew from Manchester to Alicante, fron walking into the terminal handing my luggage over to leaving the plane the staff and service was nothing less than perfection, the speed, the organisation and finally the disembarkation was something to write about, especially the disembarkation, row of seat by row of seat leaving in a orderly manner, I hope this is something that stays part of the journey after Covid, you stay sat down while a steward tells you, you can get up and go, no crushing, no pushing and shoving. There were one or two people trying to get up but the stewardess told them to sit down. You could see the joy in all the other passengers faces as they did as they were told. So here is a shout out for the young women on the 10-15 departure, Manchester - Alicante on Monday the 8th November, you are a credit to your profession. You are professional. You are pleasant and courteous. You are the epitome of stewardship. Well done.
Questionable Business Practice
I booked four sets of flights from Stansted for 2022. Jet2 have now cancelled all of them. My next reluctant choice was Birmingham. After checking the first two I gave up. On the same dates one would now cost me £288 as opposed to £230 (an increase of 25%) and the next £444 instead of £278 (a whopping 58% increase).
I accept that maybe Jet2 decided that they would not get enough bookings for Stansted but to cynically raise those prices after I had made previous bookings is disgraceful. They could at least have let me have prices similar to what I had already paid.
As it is I have now booked much cheaper flights with Easyjet. I doubt that I will use Jet2 in the future
A very sad customer
I am Sally Painting. I booked a flight with Jet2 0n
16 October for my husband, myself and granddaughter from Ibiza to Birmingham. I booked the flight in August to ensure we were booked as my Husband was having Major surgery in Birmingham. As we are Pensioners 79 and 71 respectively my granddaughter said she would come along to help me with her grandad after surgery. We flew to Birmingham in July with Jet2 for his xrays etc and we also had to go last week for his pre-meds but travelled with another airline. While in the UK they sadly had to cancel the operation for the 18/10 and put it back until January 2022.I phoned Jet2 19 times without a reply and an enermous telephone bill? I finally got through yesterday and explained the situation and asked 'please can I have my money back' advising I could provide proof from the hospital and I would have to book another flight in January so it would be hardship to stand out of this €500. I was told NO in no uncertain terms. I was also told 'I should have got insured' I agree but explained as I was NOT a UK resident I could not get insured - maybe I could have lied but with them in Possession of my passport details and address this would be construed as 'FRAUD' However I was given the option to change the flight? but you don't fly in winter? Then they suggested I maybe should fly to Birmingham on 16/10 on a shopping trip??? unbelievable!!! I then asked if they would change the flight until next year but I needed a date - what date - then they said they started flying April so I said great book 7-14 April - OK that will be an extra €395 to pay NOW because of the increased next year's prices - have I got this right? you want me to pay a further 395 to re-book instead of lose €500 I will lose €895?
there was NO reasoning with them and even though I said I just cant afford to do this there was no compassion ie we will look into it, get back to you etc I know there are rules but hey!!!!! Anyway at thr end of todays conversation I was given the choice'pay the change or cancel' so you can guess my answer 'you will have to cancel' I was given no choice to send proof or any form of documentary evidence. I had hardly shut my computer down when I had confirmation that the flights were 'cancelled' i'm gutted. Sadly Jet will not be on my Christmas list nor will my many friends. Surely rules can be broken in extreme circumstances but obviously not by Jet 2.

Have booked 3 years running with Jet2 just for flights from Birmingham to Palma.
Brilliant experience 2019
Booked early 2020 but due to covid I cancelled and received an instant refund.
Booked 2021 having had both covid vaccine and Mallorca amber, slightly nervous. What a stress free experience thanks to their safety precautions and brilliantly professional and helpful staff at both ends. Helped with all paperwork, nothing was too much trouble.

Hired a car through Jet2 as a package…
Hired a car through Jet2 as a package holiday. Purchased the excess insurance at the time of booking, read the terms and conditions provided by Jet2 and everything seemed ok.
On holiday the car was damaged through no fault of our own, wasnt worried though as we had purchased the excess insurance.
Got home and tried to submit a claim, couldnt do it through Jet2 and couldnt do it through the 3rd party company either.
Jet2 didnt seem to have a clue how you actually claim on the insurance and provided the wrong details 4 times, the 3rd party company confirmed the email used on the cover was a jet2 email and not ours which is why we could not log in to their online system. They assured me that Jet2 can change this.
Contact jet2 again and they refused to do this. I submitted a complaint that was never properly addressed and incorrect information given again. I then submitted the complaint again and was told I had reached the end of their complaints procedure and again the incorrect information was provided regarding submitting a claim.
I will now be submitting my complaint to ABTA as Jet2 are completely miss-selling excess insurance!!!
