Very helpful staff who kept me updated re delivery and installation etc

Purchase the item only to be told afterwards that they did not have it in stock and it would be ordered in and I would receive an email when my item had been delivered. However this email never came.

Can we please have an urgent update on the order we placed for a Neff built-in oven on 13th June 2026? (Name on the order: Mr Green).
After chasing a delivery date, we were told the item is a special order with no confirmed date. However, we have since contacted Neff directly, and they confirmed new stock is arriving at their warehouse at the beginning of July.
Could you please confirm if any of this incoming stock is allocated to our order? It has been 16 days since we ordered, and we still have no delivery timeline. This is incredibly frustrating as we have kitchen fitters booked to arrive in a week's time.
Please can we have a direct answer?

Always fantastic customer service from Smiths TV from start to finish. Superb choice of products on the website and easy to navigate round. Item was ordered Monday pm and was delivered/fitted Wednesday am by the lovely, friendly and courteous Neil. He sent me a text prior to his arrival to let me know when he was likely to turn up. I ordered a shark fan today for next day delivery. I've just been informed due to there system not up loading properly i won't be getting my order yet i received a confirmation email stating delivery for tomorrow It wasn't actually in stock. Took my payment though. I'm not prepared to wait like there expecting me to. I placed my order at 10am this morning. Its now gone 5 o'clock. All of a sudden its not available. Not happy at all.

Ordering our chosen TV was made more pleasant by Smiths actually having it in stock in early December for a great price... and then allowing us to choose our delivery date precisely later in the month. Everything went smoothly, was packaged well, and they chose a very good courier partner to deliver to us on time and extremely courteously. Recommended!

I purchased TV online from the SMITHS website after selecting a short list and comparing the various features over a period of two days.
I appreciated the site features that made this possible simply.
When I was happy with my selection, and went to order and pay, and I was filling in the delivery address, I received an error message saying that my postcode was not covered.
Using the contact details, I enquired if I was able to have it delivered to my brother in laws address, and was informed that my own post code should be covered, and to retry.
Upon returning to the delivery page, the glitch had indeed sorted itself, and I was able to complete the transaction.
I was most pleased that the TV - an LG 50 inch, was delivered early the next day, and I was able to set it all up quickly in time to watch it in the evening.
In the time I was comparing on the Smith website, I also compared prices on competitors, and found the Smiths price was not beaten, and that the delivery was quicker than offered elsewhere.
I was pleased with my choice, and found the service from Smith first class, and better than other larger chains.
