Really easy to connect with students. Great that you can decline if it doesn’t work for you too

The site is fairly easy to use and the online platform is pretty good too. Building up a group of clients is fairly difficult though - I don’t know if it’s the competitive nature of the market at the moment or not.

Great platform with lots of tutors and students. The only issue I have is that recommendations are categorized as reviews when displayed on a tutor's thumbnail

I used superprof to get a regular English student, and I recommend it for both students and tutors. Very easy and straightforward to use.

Besides, the payment method is clean. Whenever I fave any difficulty, I email the Superprof team who always respond.

DO NOT USE. The filters don’t work so I could not find a tutors that met my needs. They also allowed random people who were not suitable to connect with me unsolicited. Despite not being able do find a tutor, I still got charged and they are refusing to refund.

not too happy with the charges as I only used a trial. their website made it complicated for me to unsubscribe. when i had requested for a refund they simply declined. will not recommended.

Just another update that it seems that they’re trying to contact superprof to take down my review.

Charged $59 without services. It would appear this service is a scam.

The tutor we contracted did not turn up for the tutorial.

The person that hosted the online tutorial attempted to pressure my son (year one Engineering student) into purchasing five lessons via the application but did not appear competent in physics and had poor English.

We were led to believe we were dealing with a Christchurch based Kiwi with a local business doing face to face tutoring but it was online only likely with someone overseas.

Seems like a scam and have contacted our bank to freeze credit card and seek a refund. Disappointed.

I’ve been a tutor at Superprof for a while now. I really love the platform!
It gives you the freedom to arrange lessons and payments directly with students.
It also has a wide variety of great, talented, and experienced tutors.
I’ve never had issues with them, and when students have questions or concerns, their team is always very helpful.
I recommend it a hundred percent. 💕

As a tutor on the platform, I think it's pretty handy for me, and I've received a few genuine clients and 0 scammers.

As a tutor, I have found Superprof to be a good platform for finding language students. Creating a profile and ad is straightforward but comprehensive and easy to update with changes. I find the extra structures of payment options and reviewing students unnecessary and overcomplicated, but it's good that students can leave reviews for tutors. From the tutor end, I find that Superprof make it easy to manage your interactions and presence on the platform.

As an English language teacher certified and with many years experience, I am happy to provide lessons to those people who are wanting to learn English. Superprof has proved to be a valuable instrument in getting students who are serious about becoming students. I have had several long standing students through Superprof and I'm very happy to continue to use them as a source for students both face to face and online. Keep up the good work Superprof.
