If you have a dog older than 10 years check your policy very carefully
From day one of contacting this company over are pet insurance it has been nothing short of abysmal service.
Day 1: Beloved pet dog has to be home euthanised , contacted vetsure to see what is covered, answer don't know will ring you back, she was on premplus surely you must know. Ring back just before vet arrives, still do not know, but we will send you some forms to fill in and see what happens. No empathy at anytime from call handlers just stone cold call operators.
Next emails start arriving addressed to the vet company that euthanised our pet and worded as if it was them they were speaking too. Keep getting standard worded emails as if they cared, they did not.
Takara our beloved pet was on the highest cover which implied she had £1000 death benefit, we had never claimed in the six years we owned her paid £6000ish over the six years, Takara passed away early November2025 vetsure still wanted Decembers payment.
Discovered today they do not pay out on dogs aged over 10 years old, so people beware of this company as they are not empathetic towards you or your loss they just want your cold hard cash.

i keep getting text telling me to sort…
I would like to say that I have had a call from Vetsure and a lovely lady has sorted it allout forme, for some reason my email was playing up, I have now got all the documents i need and little Loki is fully covered.
I keep getting text telling me to sort the insurance out, i have had noting to say it uis stored even though the direct debit is active and on my list of DDs, i have heard nothing about the puppy hamper i was offered and have had no emails to say the insurance is set up and active!!!!!!

Our Springer needed a ct scan on his legs following major surgery which was carried out by our vet.
My vet contacted Vetsure regarding the costs of the scan and it had been agreed and paid within a week. You can't ask for more than that!

it was the first time I had claimed for…gizmo so I’m going to call it gizmo
it was the first time I had claimed for gizmo so needed help which Donaldsons was really helpful filling in forms for me and I was suprised how quick the claim was dealt with and money refunded into my account
